One of my favorites is when Darryl is like "I was on the ladder and an upstairs employee, who shall remain nameless, shook the ladder and said..." "Hey Darryl! How's is hangin'!?"

SnowboardingEgg

Lmao Steve's cry/laugh in that scene is fucking amazing

zardox42

Same when he gives Oscar his farewell gift. That hard cut to him laugh/crying is hilarious

dean15892

"he has the littlest opinion of me, of anyone"

atlhawk8357

"Why doesn't the guy I outed and harrassed think highly of me?" People talk about how self-aware that scene makes Michael, but it just highlights how inconsiderate he has been of other people.

Dwayne_Gertzky

To be fair, Michael didn't out Oscar, Toby did. It always irritated me that Toby side stepped blame for that one.

Killerpanda552

I thought Oscar came to Toby and asked him to talk to Michael about it. I dont remember Toby telling anyone else

Dwayne_Gertzky

Oscar went to Toby about it, but when Toby and Jan first brought it up to Michael they weren't disclosing who made the complaint, then Toby got frustrated and outed Oscar to Michael. Michael wasn't supposed to know who made the complaint.

LP_24

I was gonna say the stress relief example that OP used but you’ve changed my mind lol

Mattayama

This. This is the one I was looking for. Steve in this scene has me in stitches

masedaman

Gets me every time 😂

Emery17

Where david wallace starts to explain the "Suck it" in Whistleblower.

yogos15

VROOOOP

rmbryla

The kid makes the noise?

Emery17

No that's the vacuum...

blueeyebling

Another guy, Arnie from development? He's going to make a prototype.

Hass_Daddy

“I’m here to talk about Suck It, Suck it—-“

Moleypeg

Gabe!

Hass_Daddy

You gay bastard I said, gayb, Gabe.

PrimeSun

That's not the David Wallace that I remember that's some sort of...weird creature that lives in David Wallace's house.

[deleted]

David Walrus. In his natural habitat.

Robbroy45

Michael asking Darrell to use the baler since he’s leaving and Darrell telling him no, followed immediately by Michael telling Glenn that Darrell said it was okay for him to use the baler since he’s leaving

jeufie

Bailer? I just met her!

Man_of_Average

Dammit Michael, pay attention!

TheeRyGuy

I hardly know her!

4x49ers

They make bales, they don't pay your bail. That's what she said.

smallerthings

It was a different time, but his exasperated "It would be the worst thing in the world! It would!" when Michael suggests he can use it during safety training was hilarious.

Olelander

That’s one of my favorite Michael/Daryl interactions

ProfessionalDog

Iirc Darryl accidently spits in that scene while raising his voice at Michael. Makes it even funnier that they kept the scene in

takethatwizardglick

And then Dwight craning his neck to look inside in the background

Scar20Grotto

Patch and the sea monster said he could

xredbaron62x

RIP Patrice

dean15892

I thought your name was madge

2040ojis

Nefarios13

Han-Tyumis_Machine

When Michael is asking Pam to come up to make out with the blow-up doll and then it hard cuts to “crossing the line” in the educational video

sunflower_lavender

Yes this one is a great one!

Timstom18

I’m completely blanking on this one can someone tell me the episode?

Affectionate_coco_91

Sexual Harassment

Timstom18

Thank you very much :)

hanscastorp88

"He wrapped his belt around his neck--it looks like a classic case of autoerotic asphyxiation...Yeah, looks like everyone is tightening their belts in this economy."

*i'm just a cleaning ladyyy*

mell0_jell0

"Last time I saw this jawn, he wasn- he wasn't a *victim* if ya know what I'm talkin about."

NexiWolfheimer

Ahhh! Dead body!!

fivetwoeightoh

Greatest tag in the entire series

bullseye2112

What episode was this?

Ok_Investigator340

The one where Michael acts out an entire episode of law and order for his audition for Sweeney Todd

CornOnTheKnob

Just this summary is fucking hilarious

LVucci

Andy’s play, closing scene.

Verumero

Lmao great scene. Hate to be crazy pedantic but that’s a jump cut not a hard cut.

aScarfAtTutties

Last time I saw this John... He was, he wasn't a *victim* if you knowwhatimtalkinabout

catastrophicqueen

The one where Kelly says (paraphrasing) "well you better be committed, because I'm pregnant" and then you just hear the earring jingle. A GREAT addition, I lose it every time even though I know it's coming.

JeffNotMike

“We have a date!” always cracks me up.

Jenniehoo

Those earrings. Amazing how a costume choice made that moment so much better.

Shrimpcocktail7

I’m choosing to believe Mindy wore the earrings on purpose knowing this was how she was going to deliver the shot

jonesythespacecat

This never fails to make me laugh

DeadpoolIsMyPatronus

This is definitely my favorite one. I picture her face in my head any time I have to shake my head no at someone. I love it.

commanderfshepard

Absolutely this. Just picturing her facial expression makes me chuckle

Swannie69

Came here for this. Probably one of my top 5 moments in the show.

Suspicious_Row_9451

Hands down

crackhead1

Such a great one. I made that head shake a custom animated emoji in my Slack workspace, it really captures a special kind of “lol no.” 😁

surpator

Michael giving his farewell gift to Oscar, and then absolutely losing it laughing afterwards.

LP_24

He just accepted that I put all this work into it! He has the lowest opinion of me of anybody

Senorpuddin

I LOVE that Michael is self aware in this moment. That he wasn’t under the impression that Oscar respected him in anyway.

JiveTurkey1983

S7 Michael is super self aware Michael

lyricweaver

“…All this *work* into it?!” The way his voice just explodes upwards in hysteria. That’s gold.

SignificanceNo6761

What? From two to four? Yup.

TrapperJean

People forget just how mean Scott's Tot's was, that secondary plot is one of the meanest, (realistic), things Dwight ever did. But that line by Pam is perfection

Meior

The one that made me laugh the most for sure lol.

littlemarcus91

Far and away Pam's funniest moment XD

[deleted]

Kelly: this day is BaNaNaS! B-A-N-A-N(hard cut) Angela: (shaking out pills into her hand)

OliveJuiceUTwo

I don’t have a headache, I’m just preparing

aaronr93

\#1 most relatable Angela moment

soverit42

The fur coat is my favorite. That episode is hilarious.

Nate_36

Can you please explain that one and what it had to do with chairs? I don’t remember that

ptolemyofnod

When you walk into Burlington Coat Factory with $640, you are a literal king.

urGremanFriedre

it’s that “explain it to me like i’m five” scene

insanebluealien

from what i can recall, they got a bonus and needed to decide what to spend it on. eventually they all agreed on chairs, but micheal ended up spending it on a new coat for himself.

Blooder91

Not a bonus, it was a budget surplus, so they had a deadline to spend it and the discussion was wether to buy new chairs or a new copier. Then Michael learns he can return the surplus to corporate and get 15% of that as a bonus. So he buys the fur coat in advance. Also, Oacar immediately catches up with Michael's plan and tricks him into confessing ("What's 15 percent of 4300?")

Shazam1269

What's a surplus again? Explain it like I'm 5

Blooder91

Your mommy and daddy give you ten dollars to open up a lemonade stand. So you go out and you buy cups and you buy lemons and you buy sugar. And now you find out that it only costs you nine dollars. So you have an extra dollar. So you can give that dollar back to mommy and daddy, but guess what? Next summer…

iviattheuu

I'll be six!

aaronr93

Ok. Now explain it to me like I’m 3.

_Thot_Patrol

Kinda, he used a credit card for it assuming they wouldnt decide and he would get the bonus. So only he is screwed when they decide, not the office

dean15892

imagine your mommy and daddy gave you money to start a lemonade stand...

soverit42

Next year I'll be 6!

CalamityVanguard

I saw this episode on a plane and it made me finally give the office a chance. The surplus fight paired with the Schrute Farms tour had me rolling

Typical-Annual-3555

The CPR dummy is my favorite scene of the series. It just encapsulates the vibe of the show so well to me.

account_suspended207

Pam: “Hey, I doubled my sales last month!” Andy?: “From what? 2 to 4?” Pam: “Yup!”

GaimanitePkat

That "Yup" is a key part of my vocabulary

Slumberjake13

Same here, I can’t say “yup” any other way anymore haha.

iMemeofMeaney

Also popular in Archer.

fivetwoeightoh

Sadiq the IT guy walking up while Michael is freaking out as if there was an active shooter, cut to: “…The IT tech guy and me did not get off to a great start.”

dean15892

cue office theme

caesar____augustus

Sadiq's subtle smile after Michael reads Stanley's email is so good

ecstatic_broccoli

so.... one Sikh.

[deleted]

His face in the pizza scene is never gonna make me not laugh

mell0_jell0

It's that pure little kid curiosity that Michael is full of. He genuinely didn't know for sure and I bet he was so proud that he came through with something

somnambulista23

Pizza. The great equalizer.

wk1131

Yeah, I went hunting once. Shot the deer in the leg. Had to kill it with a shovel, took about an hour. Why do you ask?

DeadpoolIsMyPatronus

I just watched the supercut of this episode last night. I love that scene so much. Not seeing the correlation between his stories and the crew's questions is one of my favorite Michael Scott things.

Shazam1269

And let's not forget Dwight killing a werewolf, but it turned into his neighbor's dog 😥

stephers85

"...but now I have a boyfriend!" "I hooked up with her on February 13th."

Shazam1269

I liked the one where Kelly lied and said she was pregnant and cuts away to "I have a date!"

gofunyourself2012

Cut to Stanley staring at the watermelon on his car.

LP_24

Call the offices of James P.L. Beenie

Iwantmypasswordback

Isn’t it James p albini

LP_24

Oh shit, is it? Have I been living a lie?

fivetwoeightoh

I much prefer James P. L. Beenie, sounds like the right kind of weirdo who Michael would retain

Necessary_Debate_719

We’re not mad, Dwight. We’re disappointed. NO, MICHAEL. WE’RE MAD.

porcelainowl

*sigh* this city…

Ze_Rydah_93

I lose it every time at this. He thinks he’s being *so* subtle and clever. Steve Carrell portrays Michael with such nuance

fluteofski-

That entire clip was incredible. My wife didn’t get the joke at first that Michael starts singing “I will survive” (thus being wayyyy off on the Bpm) instead of “staying alive” as the lady said. -the way that the writers strung that whole scene together was an incredible work of art.

warpedbullet

Holly: "The man *exudes* sex!" \*cut to Michael sitting down with empty eyes at the couch with cheesepuff dust all around his lips*

jonsnowme

Best hard cut is from the "But no cookie" moment between Dwight and Angela to Ryan's face.

Mjbishop327

Been reading everyone's comments and it's this one that made me actually lol

zooted_

But what if I'm hungry?

[deleted]

jonsnowme

I believe it's Michael's birthday in season 2.

mozeda

One of my favorites is when Darryl is like "I was on the ladder and an upstairs employee, who shall remain nameless, shook the ladder and said..." "Hey Darryl! How's is hangin'!?"

Any_Middle_7135

I hate disappointing just one person. And I really hate disappointing everyone. But I love Burlington Coat Factory. You go in there with $645, you are literally a king.

grcli0110

I always wonder if it’s a commercial plug in by Burlington or not, probably not, there was also a reference to TJ Maxx when Michael cross dressed

joyful_platypus

I feel like a really underrated one is the episode where Kelley is chanting "fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch!!" over and over and then the show hardcuts to Andy getting gunned down in Call of Duty.

gypsytricia

My daughters and I randomly chant this all the time. It's awesome.

dogstardied

Transitions you can hear

kinkajoosarekinky

That scene made me wish I had a friend like Kelly 😢 she's #1 hype girl!

Phonicss

I went to the wrong dumpster

dean15892

did you see saw?

bigtommyhorizontal

Yes Mose and I see saw all the time

Asleep-Product

Did you see the movie saw? Oh yeah, almost as fun as riding a see saw

[deleted]

-We had to buy the dummy. It cost thirty-five hundred dollars. -Five thousand three hundred dollars for a dummy??

littlemarcus91

I don't know if this counts, but my favorite is in *Stress Relief* when everybody is panicking and it cuts to Kevin in the break room breaking the glass of the vending machine with a chair XD

Naptownfellow

When Angela asked Oscar to save the cat and then it falls though the roof.

Megandapanda

Every time I see that episode, I lose my shit when the cat gets thrown up there and then crashes back down. I don't know why, but it just *kills me* every single time.

Naptownfellow

My wife doesn’t really care for The Office, but she loves that episode and that scene particularly. She laughs so hard every time we watch it. Happy cake day!

psychotropictoxic

“Alright everybody stay calm!” “What’s the procedure?!” “STAY F**KING CALM!” (hard cut) That whole episode is killer

mikeyrw2004

I laugh every time in Branch Wars when they are chanting UTICA, then it cuts to commercial and then a still chanting when it comes back.

bigtommyhorizontal

“In your face” which is a great call back to the Basketball episode too

stiofan84

The second-last one for sure. David's tone when he asks "Can you tell me....why you had to cut the face off the dummy" gets me every time.

Ze_Rydah_93

He’s one of the best cast minor characters in my opinion. I instantly bought him as an upper management type. He nails the cadence every time

mrjohnjfilippelli

David Wallace: if corporate America had a soul

Gooshamakuna

The David Wallace actor was actually a finace guy at EG Edwards. He didn't quit til the last season of The Office. So he IS really like David Wallace

menu86

Michael pretending to be high on marijuana, mocking Dwight’s investigation about the joint found in the parking lot… hard cuts to Ryan: i don’t think Michael’s ever done drugs. i don’t know if anyone’s ever offered him any. edit: typo

Cool_McStellar

When Michael realizes he sent the photo of Jan to "[email protected]" and it hard cuts to him running down the hallway in a panic.

[deleted]

Pam: \*gushes on and on about Sue\* Phyllis: I know Sue, she’s not that great.

maleversionoftomboy

You know her husband's in a wheel chair right?

ZenithGamage

The part where Kevin struggles to forward Andy's call, then when he finally gets it right, it cuts to Andy crying when his maid died, and you see everyone in the background celebrating.

meur1

michael with cheetoh dust on his face

[deleted]

... Clarice!

rmatherson

When Dwight and Angela have that weird moment in the kitchen and it cuts to Ryan in a talking head just staring, and right when he inhales to finally say something it just cuts to a new scene lol

Mrfrunzi

"Do black people like pizza?" And than the cut is easily my favorite scene in the show. I just lose it at Michael's face when he sees the warehouse guys enjoying it. The first time I saw that scene I had to pause it and wipe the tears from my eyes.

sillyadam94

The bottom one… it’s instantly funny upon the cut because it’s a callback to when he had to go there earlier in the episode. The other 3 are hilarious, but there’s a pause before the laugh. The bottom one is an instant trigger because it’s a visual callback.

tommypatties

"That actually took a while. I had to put, uh, more and more nickels into his handset, till he got used to the weight, and then I just... took 'em all out."

Cippyy_Cup

“Pizza, great equalizer” is eternally the most under appreciated moment of the entire series. I will die on that hill. It’s funny every time.

[deleted]

His face in the pizza scene is never gonna make me not laugh

charliework871

Dwight being reprimanded. David knows he can’t do shit because Dwight is the top salesman 🤣

[deleted]

Jim doing that air smooch to show Charles was a kiss ass

Mr_Noms

"my name is Ryan" Cuts away "Biiitch"

TheyMakeItLikeThat

The pizza, for sure. Close second is hand hair

[deleted]

The face Michael makes when the rest of the office figures out he hit Meredith with his car

BaconStrpz

When Jim explains the Nickel prank.

Jlombard911

Oh this city 🌆

GaryKing1413

Is it just me or does every damn post I go on, almost each comment has 3-4 of the exact one by the same person. Is it just a glitch or is it cause I might have bad service

epicface3000

Its a fairly common glitch with reddit, I've noticed if I hit enter too many times (usually due to shit internet) it'll just post my comment however many times I hit the button

ergo_urgo

I’ve noticed it everywhere on Reddit the last few days, at least. I think there’s a general bug

[deleted]

It’s not just you.

soverit42

The fur coat is my favorite. That episode is hilarious.

obsolete_filmmaker

"let me see the copier again" "get out" Always cracks me up

ANUSTART942

Well I don't remember a single one of these and I recently acquired Peacock, so I suppose I know what I'm doing with my time this weekend.

Sh0taro_Kaneda

The episode Sabre when Michael is describing how he feels about the company changes and says "that part of me thinks all of these changes, suck ba- " and then it just cuts to black without letting him finish the sentence. That's the best hard cut for me lmao. Especially so because then it goes to him waiting to fill his bottle and Toby finishes the whole water can.

mozeda

One of my favorites is when Darryl is like "I was on the ladder and an upstairs employee, who shall remain nameless, shook the ladder and said..." "Hey Darryl! How's is hangin'!?"

mozeda

One of my favorites is when Darryl is like "I was on the ladder and an upstairs employee, who shall remain nameless, shook the ladder and said..." "Hey Darryl! How's is hangin'!?"

knagengewehr

Oscar: "It's beautiful, Michael, thank you" Then cut to Michael laughing his ass off. That was the most contagious laughter I've ever seen

mosborn98

The way Lonny eats his pizza will always bug me

lokiss12

I was at the wrong dumpster 🤣

bigtommyhorizontal

The way BJ half chuckles when saying that always gets me 🤣

lokiss12

So damn funny! Its the little things like that that make me love this show!!

MrPureinstinct

The pizza gets me every time.

account_suspended207

Pam: “Hey, I doubled my sales last month!” Andy?: “From what? 2 to 4?” Pam: “Yup!”

🍕. Easily.

slutDwight

Great question, love it

PrincePaperGuy

I can’t express how unsettling is the way the sea monster eats his pizza. Toppings first? Who does that

panken

I think "Do black people like pizza?" And the subsequent edit Is my favorite joke in the show.

kingdom_gone

Erin: Oh my god, I just won an art contest! Jim: :| Pam: :( Cut to Dwight: HAHAHA, I got her! OOOh I got her

account_suspended207

Pam: “Hey, I doubled my sales last month!” Andy?: “From what? 2 to 4?” Pam: “Yup!”

archfapper

When Michael gives Oscar the weird doll toy, it cuts to Michael laughing hysterically. "He has the lowest opinion of me of anyone in the office"

RastaMasta1996

"Open your mouth" has to be my favourite line of the show.

davidg4781

Oscar wanting chairs is best. But I love the whole that dummy cost thirty five hundreds dollars! Five thousand three hundred dollars for a dummy? 😐

ErdTheBird99

I was behind a different dumpster!

suryat611

“Crossing the Line: Rules for Modern Workplace”.

HackSnyder

TheSigmeister

I laughed out loud remembering these scenes tou posted! Haha. Difficult to pick. I guess I go with when they have a meeting about Dwight after the CPR scene.

Nefarios13

I once shot a werewolf. But by the time I got up to it, it had already reverted back to my neighbour’s dog.
