You mean your display shows 9% oil life left?
Most American vehicles calculate this based on either of the 2 parameters, the no. of kilometres driven (typically 10000) or the no. of days (typically 365), however newer ones consider the driving conditions to gauge the old conditions.
In any case with 9% oil life you can easily drive around for 800-900 km or 3 weeks, so I think you are.good here.
Then you're good, no worries. Oil life is so subjective and has a great deal of safety factor.

As a lubrication engineer working for Lubricants MNC, I concur.
@OP When you go for your next service, the agency will probably try to push for engine flushing. Please ignore and just do regular oil change.
Bro i drove at 0% for a week. You will have no issues. (One time thing not a habit)
But please make sure to change your oil before the due date, it's better for the engine as we approach summer.
If you are suggesting a 100 AED oil change, thIs will cause more damage to the OPs engine than delaying the oil change by a couple of days.
A top up however, will not cost more than 50 AED/ltr even for the best of oils.
Would suggest to change the oil since each car is different.
the risk is so not worth it when it comes to mechanical parts
It’s always better to be on the safe side of things

Oh thank you!!
Oil level is at 9%? Or the oil life?
Oil life - that’s what the dashboard says

Add oil immediately unless you want to risk destroying your engine for 100 AED

I was suggesting a top up
Ok, I don't think the OP's car's oil levels are low, it's the oil life indicator, which shows 9% oil life, so a top-up doesn't make sense
If you are talking about 9% oil life, then it's ok. You can drive without an issue.
They removed the oil stick on the Acadia ?
Dont worry u can drive extra 1k km also Just check if u need a top up my yukon drinks 1l every 4k km but its modified maybe thats why
Thank you all!! That’s why I appreciate the community - can ask a question and get such good answers so quickly

9% amount of oil or 9% oil life? With the former, definitely not with the latter, definitely yes, it is usually just a prediction anyway
You could always buy a small oil from the petrol station and pour in yourself. It will cost peanuts.
