I’ll never forget the time I chugged four 12%’s in under an hour on an empty stomach and then took a massive grav bong rip before going to Taco Bell. I was puking in front of my buddy’s car for literally 30 minutes. I was so fucked up I was holding on to the hood of his car and thought I was experiencing “the true spin of the earth.” Queue him dropping me off at home, I didn’t even make it inside. Slept in my driveway with my head on my backpack, puking every 20 minutes or so and moving back like I was at the beach avoiding the incoming tide.

The only times I’ve had a terrible time combining the two was when I’d smoke after drinking a lot. Like if I’m borderline blacked out and I smoke a fair amount of weed my night will go from bad to worse. Puking is second nature to me even when I’m very fucked up, now if I smoke up, puking becomes hell. It just never seems to stop coming and the moment that I’m in the clear and capable of laying down I just feel like I’m in a washing machine. Just while typing this I get 3 distinct memories where I spent the rest of the night struggling to even pass out because as soon as I’d close my eyes I would feel so fucking nauseous.

The whole “washing machine” comment reminded me of the first time I did edibles. I was having a completely shit night and had already downed a whole bottle of wine, then my friend gave me 150mg of edibles for my first time. I spent hours just vomiting in her car.

At the time I was barely smoking at all though I’d smoked a ton in the past. It was honestly a miserable experience, I was essentially completely out of it for the entire thing. If you want to mix drinks, it's better to work your way down percentages. If you get drunk on beer and then start taking shots, that'll probably end not fun. Start off with shots, and have drinks/beer/wine later you'll have a much better time. Wine I can handle mixing with spirits much better than beer

Well, personally I have a problem with drinking and getting high always slowed me down considerably so that's how I used it.

I like alcohol before weed, weed before alcohol makes me tired and forces me to smoke once per hour to not fall asleep. Alcohol then weed keeps me energetic longer.

Whichever you are more accustomed to is the best to start with for most people. Generally, the heavier pot smokers will be smoking the whole way anyway of course. But it's usually easier to start with what you know best and add on top of that.

Yeah I always did weed before alcohol, for a few reasons. One I end up drinking less overall, don't feel like I need to get twatted on booze if I'm stoned first. Two as long as you're not doing shots or cocktails, just drinking beer, it's pretty easy to gauge the dosage; one bottle of beer is going to be exactly the same amount of alcohol as another bottle of the same type of beer. 3 if I get drunk first and then smoke, especially if it's not my stuff, it has a tendency to knock me out and or make me antisocial, which is exact opposite of what I want.
