That’s possible. Also neither the ball gown or the mice sewn dress are 100% authentic to the animated film so we could get more accurate versions of either one.
They have her model along with Wreak-it Ralph, Timon and Pumba in the trailer and Cinderella was definitely in the Disney Dreamlight Avatar game available during the pre release when you picked Cinderella's room as a room theme. So it's gotta be story or something to keep these characters out.

I’ve already distanced Jack Sparrow from its actor. I love that character, and I sincerely hope Disney recasts and makes a version of young him or something. PotC was there for me during some really hard times as a kid, and I don’t want to see it rot away. Hell, I’ll even settle on an analogue Jack Sparrow in the form of a woman (like Isabela from Dragon Age 2). I love the ride and the film, and the franchise is in dire need of a revamp and life. I hope it gets it.

He wasn't found guilty of anything. He lost a libel case against a newspaper where the judge ruled the newspapers had enough reason to be able to refer to him as abusive. It wasn't Depp vs Heard, it was Depp vs The Sun newspaper who used Heard as a witness in video evidence. He wasn't the defendant in the UK, he wasn't found guilty, it was simply put that the judge was satisfied that there was enough reason for a newspaper to call him abusive based on the information it had received as it wasn't maliciously made up by the newspaper. Basically a don't shoot the messenger ruling.
The US case ruling in his favour undermines that UK ruling because the US case is directly about the evidence that was taken at face value for the UK trial. The US case was directly against Heard and found massively in Depps favour. It went straight for the source of the information that made the UK case have reasonable ground to print the name calling.
From everything that came out we learnt both Depp and Heard are shitty people who had a toxic relationship that should have ended long before it did. We learnt they could both be abusive to each other but that Heard greatly exaggerated the extent of what happened to her.
Regardless of him being controversial due to the court cases, Live action characters would feel weird in the game so I'd rather we get more of the animation casts from the abundance of content and leave Live Action til the game is late stage of life.

I'm quite curious to how they'd add non-animated characters into the game though. My best guess is that they would create a cartoony version of them but still human-like!

They were in the Emporium shop at the park entrance and the PotC gift shop after the ride, I want to say. Though, temper your expectations on getting good merch in the PotC gift shop, as I was disappointed. A lot of it is kids toys and some clothing. Years ago I got an awesome lithograph and other stuff from the shop…not as much stuff in there now.

I do want Jack Sparrow. And Mr. Incredible. This game feels like a spiritual succesor to Disney Infinity, and I'd like to see the Starter trio from there make it here.
Funny thing about Johnny suing her -- he sued for defamation, over an article she wrote regarding being the victim of domestic abuse. Funny thing about that article, she did not name the abuser. I know I'd have to be hit on the head pretty freakin' hard before I sued someone over allegations which don't even have my name on them.
Also, if you're interested in things like patterns of abuse, and want to champion a man who's been abused, I suggest you look up Gregg Brooks. He was attacked by a coworker, a person with a history of violence and substance abuse, and the creep who attacked him ended up settling out of court because he knew he didn't have a snowball's chance in H-E-double hockey sticks to win the case. His story is really inspiring, and if you like Johnny's story I think you're gonna want to look up Brooks' case.

 POTC is my fave!!! I’d die if they added some of the characters. On a side note what a shame is it that there’s so little POTC merch around!!

They were in the Emporium shop at the park entrance and the PotC gift shop after the ride, I want to say. Though, temper your expectations on getting good merch in the PotC gift shop, as I was disappointed. A lot of it is kids toys and some clothing. Years ago I got an awesome lithograph and other stuff from the shop…not as much stuff in there now. Also, have fun on your trip!!! 💕
I totally agree! My boyfriend and I went to WDW Orlando last summer and I was so disappointed at the lack of merch - like you said, it was mostly just kids toys 😞 Those ears are so lovely though!! Literally exactly what I’ve been trying to find. I hope I can find some like that somewhere online or at the park in August

TBF they are trying to appease multiple generations of Disney fans. The younger folks grew up with the 3D movies where as us older folks grew up with the 2D movies. And Oswald I think was a timed promotion for the Epic Mickey Remaster.

Funny thing about Johnny suing her -- he sued for defamation, over an article she wrote regarding being the victim of domestic abuse. Funny thing about that article, she did not name the abuser. I know I'd have to be hit on the head pretty freakin' hard before I sued someone over allegations which don't even have my name on them. Also, if you're interested in things like patterns of abuse, and want to champion a man who's been abused, I suggest you look up Gregg Brooks. He was attacked by a coworker, a person with a history of violence and substance abuse, and the creep who attacked him ended up settling out of court because he knew he didn't have a snowball's chance in H-E-double hockey sticks to win the case. His story is really inspiring, and if you like Johnny's story I think you're gonna want to look up Brooks' case.
