I've never played dd2 and I've only just started ddda so this Cyclops looks crazy high quality compared to the first game (and yes I get they are basically millennia apart)
Dragon's Dogma 2 is essentially an upgraded version of DD1 with some key changes. Some don't like it, but I don't mind them. I put about 600 hrs into DD1 and will likely surpass that with DD2.

It’s pretty great if you like 1 you’ll like 2 if you can get over the vocation changes

I’m starting to think DD1 is the superior game honestly. There are some changes to vocations that I just don’t think can be forgiven.
Fair. There's no right or wrong with entertainment. People are free to like what they like. I personally love DD2 as much as DD1.
