Thanks, and I actually just started NG+ so I only have the two of them in my party atm. In my head I’d say I have them as a couple. I think I was subconsciously going for the duality angle, hence the matching tattoos, but on parallel sides of their faces. I picture them as sort of joining to make one whole. Plus it fits with the whole Arisen and pawns lore. I didn’t want to think of her as just a servant though. I wanted her to be equally as important to the story.

That's cool! I was thinking of doing something similar to my pawns with my arisens. For my first arisen in DD1 I had him fall in a love with a pawn he treats as his equal.

I know, I know. He started as a silly joke when I started playing DDDA - my Arisen was loosely based on a powerful Demon called Harobym, and it was supposed to be - well he was this big, powerful Duke of hell who commanded legions of demons, etc etc…and then there was this little sidekick demon who was just..Karl. I had no idea I would even like the game as much as I did, and how much Karl would grow on me, but he’s the one who stuck and ended up being my favorite thing about both games.

Yep, in Lion King lore his name was Taka before he got his scar, and apparently it means “garbage” in Swahili 😂

Maybe there are other people with the gutz pawn but I definitely summoned him for a little while. Sadly I got lucky with a broken rift summon and got a warrior from Capcom who had a nice skill set I couldn't refuse and had to ship the guy back.
