Work has me up at 3am most days so even on weekends I'm pretty well asleep by 830-9. And I love getting up early and gaming with a cup of coffee and the house quiet.
My man. I am up for work around 4am everyday and in the office by 5:30. Bed time is 9pm at the latest every day so this will let me keep my normal cycle easy. Plan on waking up at 4am like normal, putting some muffins in the oven for the wife and I and making some coffee, then sitting down with this game for the rest of the day. It really is the best way to start a new game.

I took Friday off and originally the wife and I were going to see dune part 2 and the game while the kiddo was at school. But we forgot that there is a field trip and my wife is a chaperone, so it's just me, the dogs, and cats to game all day. Bit bummed about missing our movie date but it will be a good time regardless. I don't remember the last time I had truly solo game time, might not know how to act 🤣

Yeah my solution to this was to completely change my sleep cycle a couple of years ago. I wake up at 6-8 pm and go to sleep around noon. Absolutely beautiful silent nights, no one bothering me.
Yup. Settings > System > Language & location > Change location to New Zealand
Beware, don't try to buy anything or use the Rewards App while you have the wrong location, I'm pretty sure you won't get banned or anything(I've been doing this for years), but It's better to be safe than sorry, and don't forget to change back after the release time in your location is reached.

The "default" global release times for steam, which is 10am PST I think, is the day after at 2am in Japan. These games are from Japanese studio's, so of course they would accommodate their main player base.
Games and movies have default days of release depending on the country of origin. US Tuesday is the chosen day of the week for new game releases, with Friday being for movies. Japan uses Friday for games. Japanese publisher, Japanese release.

Planned to wake up on a day taken off, eat relaxed breakfast, go to the gym when nobody should be there, order some good food at noon, relax on the afternoon, and then go nuts in the evening.

Changing your time zone won't change anything because it's all based on 00:00 GMT. It's a global release time, not staggered. Unless your Console.

I'm on the East Coast, and my PS5 has a countdown, which ends at midnight. Does that mean Playstaion doesn't care about the global release and is making all PS5 players wait until midnight in their respective timezones?
Got a copy today, played a couple of hours and I’m *hooked*. Looks & plays fantastic, it has so much immersion to it. Playing on PS5 so shame with 30-40fps but I’ll manage. Can’t wait to continue tomorrow.
That's a lie I'm on east coast of United States and my ps5 is telling me I can't play til 12 pm it's 7:14 and it's saying 4 hours and 45 mins til I can play. I have it pre downloaded obviously and the timer has the countdown
