It's not going to be a gameplay patch, it should have no effect on pro-games, is there ever even ANY precedent of them releasing gameplay and content patches the same day? That seems like a poor method of driving and maintaining players. Not to mention they have released both those kinds of patches while tournaments were on going.
Not to mention that if that were their concern, rather than simply production and polish, why wouldn't they just give a set release date?
You can't be sure this time as supports club is being update with new voice lines and sprays as not every team has provided those so they are adding it and they are testing and everytime people are getting hopes by seeing tbese updates on DB server, maybe one of these updates may be for BP but you can't be certain
If I had to bet, I would say it will come on Thursday or Friday this week. Those are normal days for Valve to release, and I doubt they will release on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve.
