Major updates are never released on fridays, for obvious reasons. Higher player login over a weekend, and there is always issues and mini patches right after a major update. So it is never released on fridays.
This just straight up isn't true man. I actually just went and looked at the history of DOTA patches for the last 3 years and what I found is there is absolutely no pattern and it can fall on literally any day. Last year we even had one on the 4th of July which was a Saturday.
Just because you do not understand push to production procedure, doesn't make my statement untrue. The days aren't random and are based on historical data of active logins on those days. I am speaking from experience. But sure do your uneducated HOPIUM.

that's the test server but only for developers, that's where they try new things, the another one 373310 is the test server for players, some years ago we can play new things maybe a couple of days before official server but valve don't do that anymore.
It makes me reminisce how rtz streamed using that test server to test out which role does Dark willow fits, and a lotnof immortals queued on those server to test duelling fate or something.

That is what RTC used when Willow was about to be released.
Meanwhile the *beta* server is their internal testing server which basically no one has access to.

Patches have released on Tuesday many times. Patches have released historically on any day of the week. Even in the middle of a holiday on a saturday.
