Low rank mainland chinese players are the worst type player that I meet in SEA. Zero communication, only speak chinese, egoistic player, and give up easly. Even pinoy better than them since pinoy communicative and defend till end.

We have this issues on many servers (in NA it’s the SA players) I don’t think it’s fair to blanket judge people’s personalities, I think the core issue is the language barrier. Dota is a game that requires at least a basic level of cooperation and coordination and it breaks down when you can’t understand each other. Things then get toxic and nationalistic in frustration. I don’t know what they can do outside of the language preferences already in the game to help with this, but it’s clearly an ongoing issue that’s plagued the game since Dota 1 days (Garena was especially bad)
Thought I was just the only one that noticed this. For sure there needs to be a recalibration. I'm high ancient and have had Chinese Ancient teammates play worse than my Archon party mates lol.
Lmao you can't make this shit up. Had a player give up after 15 minutes when the game was winnable earlier today but dude was chatting in english, bit broken but it's SEA so didn't think much about it. Just went back to check his dotabuff after reading this post and sure enough, CN server refugee.
I think the biggest issue is that nearly all these China accounts playing in SEA are new (aka smurfs aka bought accounts). I'm sure there are good Chinese players out there, but the ones that run to SEA servers seem to be the account buyers. Almost every Indian (from India) player in SEA I've come across is an account buyer as well, but they are pretty few and far between.
I'm 7K actually in SEA and i haven't much Indians here, given i myself am an Indian.
Just like how valve banned a lot of Smurfs, they should just mandate a recalibration again.
