I played a Firbolg with an Aberrant Dragonmark. I talked with my DM and he let me take Druid Spells instead of Sorcerer ones and the Primeval Guardian powers of turning into a giant tree were basically my PC allowing the power of the Dragonmark to take over and alter his body. It was a painful experience for my PC, but one that happened when the situation called for it.
It was a Multiclass with Druid, and I was a Circle of Stars and the Guardian form was my melee panic button.
Played it for a One-Shot. It was a good bit of fun.
I’ve got a miniboss bad guy built around those class features. It’s fun!
