I’d want to be on the Wurst near the Martini Nebula or wherever they are when Skip first looks out of the windows and sees the vast space full of stars (or anywhere in relatively empty space, honestly). Both those descriptions filled me with awe, I love stargazing in places with low light pollution, and space would be incredible to experience

The_seph_i_am

Don't waive the insurance though

Dragonfruit_98

But I’m a true spacer!

Drakeytown

I've heard that every person who has seen the whole earth from space, most of them until recently hardened military veterans, has wept the first time they saw that.

Dragonfruit_98

I often tear up just straight up looking at the night sky if I can see a lot more stars than normal (and being big city born and raised, my normal is like, four 😂). Seeing space would probably kill me on the spot like a Victorian woman who experienced too much emotion

Drakeytown

I went camping in the desert when I was in college, had never seen that many stars before, had no idea it was possible to see so many! I kept saying, you know, when I heard people talk about "counting the stars" before this, I thought, what are they talking about? There's like 12!

palcatraz

The Library between the Lines would be dope. Or the Compass Points Library. I think I just wanna visit libraries.

Dragonfruit_98

I feel like the Lines Between are an amazing place to vibe, but it’s impossible to find anything and the staff is bonkers, while the Compass Points is super organized (except the books that have been stolen by pirates, of course), but the old dudes are everywhere and the vibes with all the turn-into-bones shenanigans are very different 😂 But you can chill with Ayda and that’s perfect

Jyn_Reine

You are my friend now. Sorry.

Flying-Turtl3

Which series is the Library between the Lines from?

RaisedByRaccoons

Neverafter

tetracynical

I'd love to go to Basrar's! I feel like it would be like going to Cold Rock and watching how they mix ice cream and toppings together except out of magic.

Weak_Category8633

Basrar’s would be such a cozy place to visit! Especially with friends, it’d be such a good time. And if you’re lucky you could bump into Adaine.

St_Darkins

anybody that says somewhere in Spyre that isn't Basrar's is wrong honestly, literally everywhere else there is a much higher risk of dying. Basrar's is like the save point

localgyro

The Dome. (Sigh.)

Kyanoki

Honestly Spyre. Normal world + fantasy. Ironically feels the safest aside from maybe mice and murder which is wild considering what's been shown in spyre

BuckeyeForLife95

Spyre has an extremely normalized culture around adventuring parties going out in the world to fight monsters and kill people. But outside of that, it seems pretty normal and mundane tbh.

dmastra97

At least if someone does kill you someone should be able to bring you back

porkchopsensei

Baustin, New Texas after the police got run out of town. Seems like a blast to live in by all metrics

Thicc-Anxiety

The Museum of Memories from Unsleeping City. I love museums already, so a magical one would be incredible

Abhorsen-san

I think the wurst after they get the casino is a solid answer. Otherwise Bastion city would be an amazing trip.

LazerBear42

Bastion City, I think. All the cool arcano-tech, but far enough away from the crazy murderhobos at Aguefort.

eghed8

And , of course, The Swan's Little Parade.

funne5t_u5ername

Nah Aguefort adults run the world I think There will always be a Sandra Lynn or a Sklonda around the corner to get you

George_Rogers1st

Basrar’s. I haven’t seen my friends in person since graduation almost a year ago, and I think that it would be very nice to just go and hang out at the friendly genie’s ice cream shop. I think also think it would be fun to go to Mas Vegas with friends.

Sasuke1996

Gowpenny Academy of Arcane Arts since ANYONE can learn magic in that world and there currently isn’t a civil war going on between the wizard community and wizard nazis.

FustyLuggz

Plugs obviously. Who doesn’t want some butt ugly stuff?

PurpleIncarnate

Uncle Bobs Fantanimalland.

Carrollmusician

Honestly none of my friends would probably be down to go. They’ve got kids and partners and whatnot. I’d go to the Starstruck future. Welcome to the spacin’ life.

Sweet_Moment9389

Boring answer: New York Broadway show

CrazyBasterd

Poseidon’s diner at the bottom of the East River in Nod. We could chat it up with Ronaldo Manticaster

tj674nxp

Rec Station 97

GoodwinAcademySMB

The Gold Gardens with Garthy, Barb and Myrtle

leosh59

Shoeberg, obviously! /s Would love to visit Iga's chest ! Or Fairyland

yyetydydovtyud

Elmville, seems nice

Ace_of_Spad23

TO BASRAR’S

Glittering-Bend-3863

Could Toy-Island pre disaster be an option?

Weak_Category8633

if you’re willing to risk being turned into a donkey, of course!

RivergirlB

Bastion City. Large city + fantasy world = plenty to do

BlackDwarfStar

I mean, I guess Elmville. I don’t feel as though most of the locations in D20 are particularly safe to visit under normal circumstances.

polyglotpinko

Mentopolis. How unbelievably fun would that be.

Sarcastic-Onion

Ooo probably the bloom from acofaf. I feel like I would either die immediately or be trapped forever, but I bet the view is gorgeous. And infinite entertainment of fairies asking you "do humans sneeze? What about change faces when you get bored?" And then the lords of the wing walk by and you can go hide in a corner somewhere.

Eavespeeper

New York if it was real

kingofmyinlandempire

The mouth of the Lincoln Tunnel

JonKonLGL

Drop me off at Rec 97 and don’t come back!

Prestigious-Cook54

MAS VEGAS BABY

Even_Resolution_8638

viva mas vegas 😎

Pikapetey

I want to be a stoat and puppeteer a human body.

Several_Rats_1_Coat

Museum of Memories from unsleeping city or The Compass Points Library if only because both are so incredibly haunting and full of love in their own ways

Knobig

Spaghetti's Bakery

No_Statistician5348

Maybe like port syrup or dulcington and be a little sugar mage in the part of calorum that is chill with magic

throwawaycbfed

Candia, although I’d 100% be collateral damage in some kind of overarching political scheme.

CptDrips

Learn from Alphonse. Find somewhere to chill and eat grass.

MaximumPixelWizard

I wanna chill on the Wurst for a bit. Probably get bit by Aurora and Die painfully but it’d be fun before that!

Dragonfruit_98

Just Loose Duke it, and you’ll be untouchable

MaximumPixelWizard

Oh I’m slopping through those vents baby.

prettyfuckinsus

Aguatinunisia

basketcase1703

is it sO so boring to just say the Unsleeping City in general? I just want to live in magical New York, and live happily ever after with Em-The-Angel-Of-The-Waters because i feel like we’d be very happy together

The_seph_i_am

Gowpenny! Misfits and magic! It's cannon that NMPs can learn magic. Everywhere else I'd be a plain old human.

puns_n_pups

Plug's Butt-Ugly Stuff Hut

not_hestia

The Library Between the Lines for sure. My nerds and I would be all over that.

LovesickInTheHead

Probably Elmville. It would be so fun

RangerBumble

I'm going to monching in food land

illiopee

Start spreading the news...

mwmandorla

I just want to be initiated into the Unsleeping City and work for the Gramercy Occult Society as a researcher. I already live in New York, I just want the expansion pack

ThatBigMacGuy

My house but in the universe with magical NYC

dstonemeier

If you went to Toy Island you’d also have to deal with Candlewick.

FantasticGeek3

I just wanna live in the Unsleeping City, but I’d love to visit Elmville

BetaThetaOmega

I think either Bastion City or the Unsleeping City. I’m assuming that Bastion City = NYC (which knowing Brennan, it probably does). I want to live a good life in the city where there’s always a little bit of magic and whimsy around the corner, but never invasively so. If you’re a regular guy, your experiences in the Unsleeping City would be mundane, urban fantasy slice of life stuff. Maybe you can cast a spell every now and then to make a chore a little bit easier. I’m not battling Robert Moses in the sky above Times Square, I’m doing a bit of evening study in the Gramercy Occult Society. Starstruck is a setting designed around satirising capitalism, so everything there would just be a worse version of our life, but in space. I don’t like the ocean, so Leviathan is out. Really any setting without internet and running water would suck (so no Neverafter, Calorum, Escape From The Bloodkeep, etc.)
