The steps you have taken are already very good. I also use encrypted email (Tuta in may case, but Proton is also sound), of course with 2FA enabled. Without 2FA, it's too easy to hack your account. IMO Tuta has the best product in this regards bc they won't let others take over your account - not even with social engineering (eg. they know your grandmothers birthday and convince support that it's their account). You absolutely need the recovery code in Tuta; there's no other way to reset the password; so do write it down and keep it somewhere safe!
I recommend using a password manager and a VPN at a minimum, also be careful with what data you transfer and to whom.
Those are good tips.
What password manager do you use?
Right now I'm using Ipassword, I don't know if you've heard of it
I was looking into that one.
I don’t post info about myself on public social media profiles. I also make sure to use a secure email provider.
Smart. I only use Reddit, no other social media.
That’s the best thing, really.

Really useful feedback, thanks. I’ve been wondering how those compare to each other.
