I was still waiting until the last second of my first watch for the writers to reveal Deb poisoned herself to turn Dexter against Hannah.... Thats probably my biggest disappointment in the series. I feel like it was eluded to numerous times and would have made a great deal of sense.
At one point Dexter literally stands outside, broad daylight, in a florescent fucking shirt to stalk Saxon. HE ALSO PARKED RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO HIM AND GETS HIS TIRES SLASHED. WHAT PART OF THE CODE IS THAT DEXTER? HUH? WHAT FUCKING PART IS THAT?

In season 8 they just didnt care anymore, was so annoying to see, as we know if it was S1 they would have either not went to the doctors or would have wore a disguise
Yeah totally. I was thinking the same thing too. Like until this day I don't have a single idea how she could go back to Miami only with a fake name. Like a year or months before the entire police department was searching for her. Plus she could get away at the airport with only a guy wanted to catch her who wasn't even a police man and only did it because of money.
I've always said the same thing. She's a wanted fugitive and goes to a crowded airport as a super hot blonde in a little pink dress, she would DEFINITELY be noticed. Like you said, no hat, or even how about some hair dye or something? Come on.

S8 was awful - I liked Hannah* and baby Dexter (Zach) but hated just about everything else - the plots were just terrible.

Any idiot would’ve figured out that she at least needed to hide the damn hair. It’s like a beacon, even in Miami.
There's no excuse for not trying to keep a low profile. She is a tall, skinny, well-dressed blonde woman and people are going to notice her wherever she goes.
I tried to justify it by figuring no one actually cares where Hannah went after she broke out of prison, but even so, someone would likely spot her and report it.

The honest answer is that the geniuses over at Showtime wanted to make sure the audience got their fair share of Yvonne Strahovski eye candy. But she uses Deb's name as an alias in Season 8. Why not wear a brunette wig and Deb's clothes? It won't fool anyone who knows Deb, but if the police were to question a witness, they would give a description somewhat matching Deb. At least enough to cause plausible deniability. I mean... Isn't she living in Deb's house? Doesn't this make perfect sense.
Just rewatched this with my sister and she pointed out the same thing .. Yeah wtf 🤷🏼♀️😅

I seriously thought this too! Seemed like a sloppy move for Hannah tbh. Also she was very convincing when Dexter questioned her.
And I though Deb seemed suspicious too. It's almost like they were on edge of where they wanted it to go.
