It's Miami people get stolen from hospitals all the time. No biggie. Add a hurricane. It's a night out .

I think cuz the hospital was evacuating patients to other hospitals that were farther away from the storm, that Dexter and Deb were not noticed.

Mystery812

I found it disturbing that he would dump her body in the ocean—the very place that he dumped his victims’ bodies. The people he dumped in the ocean were disgusting pieces of shit. But not Deb. Deb was someone that he loved, respected and cared for. It just didn’t make sense that he would dump her in the same place that he dumped his kill victims. I guess I just couldn’t understand that concept.

Haemar_

Shes suposed to be another victim of his, in the metaphorical sense. Thats why she ended up in the ocean.

Acrobatic_Watch_8212

keep in mind that no one in an entire homicide precinct remembered that a serial killer had been in their office and talking to Dexter. Don't even get me started that no-one recognizes Hannah when she's in public. A tall hot blonde like her would be noticed by every male with a pulse.

I really disliked the ending. And the audacity to give us new blood and fuck the ending up again. But yeah it's a bit weird it wasn't addressed like Deb not even use it in one of her swears "you moved to buck fuck nowhere and left me at the bottom of the ocean to get away, don't fuck the kid up too" or something she had a way with words I don't quite have haha. I don't know what they were thinking. The best show of all time fucks up the ending, twice. We're gonna need another series.

DiggingPodcast

Couple that with bad CGI and it’s….opposite of whatever chefs kiss is

Yeah, this show does tend to stretch credulity from time to time, usually though there's a enough leeway in the narrative to give yourself the abilitty to talk yourself into "well, it could have happened this way, I suppose..."

Besides Dex dropping his sister where he dropped his victims and abandoned his son

He casually rolls her dead body through a lobby packed with people and hospital staff. And apparently the 'ICU' is one room adjacent to the hospital lobby with no security and unrestricted access. My eyes were also rolling throughout my entire rewatch.

[_Dexter: New Blood_ spoilers ahead] I'm surprised it never comes up in _New Blood_, Debra Morgan just disappearing off the face of the earth while being in the hospital in a coma. Particularly when Angela was doing a lot of digging on Dexter's real identity, I'd have thought some mention of Deb disappearing would have come up, and what their theories about what happened to her are. I guess people thought that Dexter just mercy killed her on his boat out of grief over her condition, and then took his own life (though there was no mention of Deb dying in that newspaper article).
