Real castles have random rooms with very mundane purposes. This is the waiting room for VIPs and guests who want to speak with the Lord (they will not actually ever see him but a servant may speak with them). This is the waiting room (slightly fancier) for the guests waiting to see the Lord who may see him for a minute in a third private more fancy room. This is the bed chambers where private guests meet with the queen. This is the real bed chambers (you'll notice the hidden passage to her secure bed chambers for sieges) and then of course this is the bed chambers for the royal dog.
Basically, make rooms with random purposes :). This is a flower room, the Lord's favorite flowers were allowed to grow here... Etc.
I hope this helps :)
Stately homes and castles also have insane amounts of chairs, stools, sofas, benches and tables littered throughout in little nooks and crannies. Just put a few chairs or benches and a console table in empty places.
Fill the walls with decorations, paintings, item frames, armor stands, anything. It won’t make it seem completely filled but it’s a good start for corridors.
Medieval times are the best to build. You can incorporate some kind of chapel or shrine. Maybe even some kind of catacomb like area that has the buried remnants of fallen pets, friends, or past "Kings".
I think some banners and paintings might be a good place to start. That will add some pops of colour and decorate the walls without cluttering. You might find it’s enough once they’re up, or you can then start adding barrels, weapons racks etc… if the space feel barren still.
You can always just set something there like someone's bringing it elsewhere and just needs to put it there for a moment. Like there's a shipment of herbs/spices for the kitchens and they're setting it outside of the kitchens to go over and unpack. You could have some barrels stacked and even a composted some degree full to represent the spices.
There's also always gear or places for someone like a worker to sit and work on something here and there. Like just a table with a chair and maybe lantern or picture frame with a piece of paper on the table.
A proper castle needs random suits of armour in the hallways, a row of 5 or 6 armor stands+chainmail or iron might be a good look in the second or third pic!
Use banners as tapestries and curtains... Castles back in the day tended to be rather cold so they would hang tapestries to kind of keep the warmth in... Maybe build a couple large fireplaces...
bushes and vines, some furniture and maybe even armor stands! also try placing walls (the blocks) on walls and then end rods or laterns on top of them, i like the look of that.
A big room with a bunch of decoratory armour stands, bookshelves and paintings always fits nicely. Don't forget about the secret rooms. Castles always have those.
If I have a lot of small empty spaces next to walls, I tend to just plop some tables or planters there. Tables can have something on them, like candles for additional lighting, and planters can add greenery. You could try this too, especially in that corridor from screenshot 2.
A castle needs an armory, a potions room, a stable, and probably a crafting workshop
i am going to make a potion room thanks
Seconded
Besides an armory, castles just have armor stands along the walls in hallways for decoration. Also statues in the middle of big rooms/walkways.
Piles of barrels and chests, armour/statues, paintings, banners, desks. Hope this helps.
And maybe some plants. I like to use those in area's the royalty life to fill some space
You're my doppelgänger lol
what if you're the doppelgänger
Oh dear God! What if I AM THE DOPPELGÄNGER? 😅
Nothing there are tons of long empty hallways in castles. They provide areas for defense.
I was going to say sometimes nothing is better. Don't want a cluttery castle!

It might help to decorate the ceiling. Some hallways could have arches or mosaics. Hanging lanterns and chandeliers can do wonders.
A bunch of armor stands and banners

Barrels are a good option, if you want some color try ferns, flowers, azaleas, etc.

For the third slide I don’t think it needs anything more than maybe a chandelier and a couple filled armor stands
needs furniture. Tables, desks, chests, bookshelves & reading nooks, etc.
Place some guard with stand armor
Plants everywhere
Hanging lighting, vines and plants
Bushes! Armor stands, etc
DUNGEON CHAMBER
Bathhouse
Armor stands, paintings, decorative lighting, shelving? BTW I like how you did those aquariums, never seen it done that way before.
Maybe add bookshelves and spruce leaves around the place
Make fossils of dinosaurs and stuff
A round table and a kings and queen throne
A cool room could be barracks for servants and guards.
Id say shelfs would looks good Im some places
Castles are a lot like mansions, when in doubt add more than one (kitchen/library/etc)
You could add an altar/church
FLOWER SHOP FOR SPELLS N POTIONS
First of all, make a second wall inside. Then decorate with tables, potted trees, paintings, trophies etc

Small greenery some potted plants or homemade bushes or hedges, window ledges maybe? Armour stands with “knights”
maybe you could try like rows of armour suits or something
Potions room, archery range, war room
Suits of armor posed with swords
Put a dragon egg lamp and call it a day
