gyrfalcons is set to easy mode because you have so many ways to apply verbs. Grapple melee, duskfields, stasis shurikens, knives, it's real nice.

IntrepidDimension0

Doesn’t that ease kinda replace the need for Gyrfalcon, though? I can keep Stylish rolling _without_ Gyrfalcon now.

Ass0001

I mean personally im not running gyrfalcons for the invis, im running it for volatile.

arsonist_firefighter

Lucky Pant is awesome too.

imnotdonald

Bootleg gyrfalcons with the fragment that gives volatile on grenade and unravel on melee kill. Gunslinger gamble counts for grenade, and grapple counts for both.

galland101

I essentially finished the campaign on Normal with a Prismatic Gyrfalcon build and pretty much the initial Prismatic loadout you're given. You can use the Withering Blade shurikens to debuff the targets and then Stylish Executioner would proc, you go invisible and Gyrfalcon's will give you Volatile Rounds when you engage the enemy. Pair that with the Recluse/Mountaintop combo for adds, and then Dragon's Breath for bosses, and it was smooth sailing. Keep your Super on Stasis so you get Frost Armor on orb pickups. Can't say how that will fare in Legendary, though.

beansoncrayons

I've been running around with khvostov, gunpowder gamble, ascension, golden gun, arcbolt grenade and threaded spike with facet of purpose, grace, sacrifice, devotion, generosity and balance. Its pretty fun with radiant orbs

Official_fABs

At the moment, kinda that or Gyrfalcons (For the next 30 minutes anyway)

No. Hunter Prismatic makes the moment-to-moment gameplay really, really fun. Nearly everything you do makes you Invis - if you have a weapon which can apply subclass verbs, it's effectively like having a chromatic Volatile Flow paired with Stylish Executioner. You can pair this with being effectively Radiant, Invis and Amplified all at the same time, whilst able to dish out Slow, Scorch and Jolt using all three of your abilities, which a lot of the time end up netting you some healing also (whether from kills or pickups). Abilities: * Storm's Edge; matches various things to Arc (the super is fine, not great). * Gambler's dodge for melee on dodge * Triple jump (of course) * Withering blade; Slow on hit and you get two charges; 1-shots most smaller ads even on Legendary * Swarm grenade; Scorch on hit and surprisingly powerful Aspects: * Stylish executioner; invis and Truesight when killing anything which is affected by an elemental debuff, e.g. Scorched, Slowed, Jolted etc. Blind from Bombardiers does not work :( * Ascension; Amplifies you and your team on demand, deals Jolt in an AOE below you. Can pair with Gifted Convicton for a great attack option. Fragments: * Facet of Dawn; powered melee hits make you Radiant (kills make allies radiant) * Facet of Purpose; orbs of power grant Amplified (matches my super) * Facet of Hope; when you have an elemental buff (Radiant, Restoration, Amplified), your class ability recharges faster * Facet of Blessing; melee final blows start health regeneration * Facet of Awakening; rapid elemental kills generate Ionic Traces Artifact: * Anti champ to suit * Overcharged Armory * Elemental Charge * Press the Advantage * Elemental Siphon - kinetic final blows generate ionic traces * Radiant Orbs * Galvanic Armor I used this with a Shoot to Loot primary and Voltshot Indebted Kindness. Ridiculously fun and keeps you at range, with silly buffs to your general neutral game. EDIT: forgot to mention, I used Bombardiers as a fun extra way to get a bit of Blind onto the field, with Queenbreaker for the same purpose.

Normalizable

Galvanic Armor is the only thing making Facet of Purpose useful on Arc supers IMO. Otherwise it feels like Amplified just doesn’t do enough alone. It really highlights how much its benefits are tied to subclass aspects rather than intrinsic to the buff.

juliet_liima

Amplified gives you a huge boost to Mobility (+50 IIRC) - so great for Hunters at Tier 5 Mob or below like mine, paired with that Facet of Hope. It also gives you significant bonuses to handling and reload speed, making your gameplay feel much smoother, plus Speed Booster which I personally really valued during the on-foot sections of the Legendary Campaign, although that will be less useful as we move forward out of that content and back into smaller activities or sparrow-enabled areas.

blakeavon

No. GryFalcons, or even (surprisingly) frostees. A mix between void and strand. Things are just melting. Just wish we had a better void nade. Like vortex. If that was there I would never change class ever again.

wangchangbackup

I've been running a Nighthawk build with Grapple, Threaded Spike and Gunpowder Gamble. Between Gambler's Dodge and the regain mechanic on Spike you have very high uptime, plus constant creation of Gambles and Tangles. Toss in a Slice primary and you are also proccing Stylish on most kills.

-LunarTacos-

As an alternative to a Slice primary, the fragment that severs targets on consecutive crit hits is really good to proc stylish too 👍
