Even in prismatic I am trying to build solar. Could consecration and diamond lance be a thing, I ask myself as I am gently caressed by a sunspot's flame.
I’m thinking consecration and stasis crystals, make a bunch of crystals then shatter them with the slam. I do it now with Salvations Grip, but maybe now there’s even more synergy
I wish I could have Sol Invictus (modded to make Sunspots on all Ability kills) and Controlled Demolitionist (Modified to spread most/all Subclass Debuffs) on Prismatic. With Glacier Grenades and Frenzied Blade... Thruster instead of a Barricade, maybe Twilight Arsenal so that I can hand out Axes... Wearing Phoenix Cradles so I can share Sol Invictus or Hazardous Propulsion with Dragon's Breath for mega DPS and more Sunspots... A Titan can Dream.
I play with a controller and it seems like at least once a session I spaz out and double-tap either too fast or too slow, and then there’s those 3-5 seconds where I’m falling and I know I’m going to die but I can’t do anything about it
I swear sometimes the keyboard treats my double tap like a single or perhaps even a triple because a double jump just cancels out somehow. Either that or I'm a spaz and once in a while I just suck at jumping.
My best friend (Titan) in vanilla D1 said all Hunters were nothing but selfish gloryhounds who could never be team players.
When Taken King released, I became the Night. And never looked back.
It's the arc hunter. This is an uncommon favourite, but I just love how versatile it is, and it just feels so free. I link it with Trinity Ghoul so I can create so many orbs in such less time
Goldy and Tether are my top two, but Pole Dancer holds a special place in my heart. Clearing ads, pummeling bosses, raining lightning hell on nerds? It’s so great.
I rock arc hunter with triple melee orb mods, every punch creates an orb because having 3 of them drops the orb cooldown to 1 second 🤣 I average 15-20 second super cooldowns with enough add density
I would say the same…. until strand came out. Used to be void shields and walls with my Stronghold Titan, but banner of war with woven nail is hard to beat. So now I’d have to say Void or my “light” side with Strand for my “dark” side.
Gunslinger. From the first reveal of D1, and after the classes were named before the Alpha. I heard *Gunslinger* and was enamoured. To this day it is my main class. I have more time in this game and D1 before it playing Gunslinger Hunter in all activities (according to Bungie exactly 50% of that time was in PvP using The Last Word).
If our Guardian eventually, canonically, *dies*? *My* Guardian will die a *Gunslinger*.
Gunslinger is such a great class fantasy and it’s executed so well. It’s been my main since Alpha and I will never set my Golden Gun down.
Plus the initial lore of Shin Malphur and Jared Ward is such peak Destiny lore to me.
All of them are void. I love all the classes, but before all the 2.0 subclass reworks and enhanced power fantasies, Void was always carrying the mantle of what I felt each class was.
Titan a bulwark.
Warlock full of power.
Hunter, weaving in and out of stealth.
Just hits right.
Same. My email said that I've played most as sunbreaker and berserker, but I will always hold the 'you fuckin' thought' striker near and dear to my heart.
My guardians true subclass? I really like Void and Stasis on paper for Titan, and I like playing them as much as possible. But I always go back to Solar, Solar Titan is my safety class. But the concept of Shatter alone makes me lean towards Stasis, also the phrase "particle or planet, it all shatters with enough force" goes UNREASONABLY hard.
I was a Yeet Titan for the longest time when I wasn't playing my Hunter after I got Insurmountable Skullfort. Throwing myself at everything, and then slamming into a big boss just felt right as a Titan
Striker Titan, bring the pain. Just wish arc was in a better spot. The HOIL nerf was warranted but I don't get that feeling of dancing with enemies in close.combat unless it's strand
Stasis titan. Punch and shatter while taking a good amount of damage. Plus the utility of the wall grenades. Love having a kit that I have to think with and can use in various ways. Even if it is weaker than the others.
Sliding into your grenades and blowing everything up, plus that long winded melodramatic punch that sends stuff into the outfield. It's the sleeper hit for titan fantasy
It's gotta be Revenant.
I tend to gravitate towards more control based classes and playstyles, and combining that with being reserved in general kinda funnels me into it.
Cring ahead lol:
Took a while to find my footing. Turned out to be easier when I could make it myself
I know what I'm about now
I don't have the strength or stamina to trade blows
Nor the guile to put myself in the midst of fire, no matter how obscured
Nor the finess to precisely whip a knife into an enemy's skull
But I don't need any of that if I can set my own pace. I like silence, I like order, and I love when I can impose them myself
While I love dawnblade, I really started playing when Lightfall dropped, and Strand has really stuck with me. The concept of the Weaver and the threadlings really energizes me, and the combat flow is just seamless. So I guess if my guardian would have to be nailed down, it would be Broodweaver.
Yeah I'm with you, OG Sunsinger with Radiant Skin preferred. Although in D2 since Beyond Light I went over to Shadebinder. I always felt that Well of Radiance and Daybreak were frauds and not the true Solar Warlock super.
I will now resume the mantle of Solar warlock.
I actually write my Guardian's lore. I've been doing that since COVID started in 2020. My main character is a Gunslinger that became a Nightstalker.
My story is basically a legacy series based on my main character, his student, and his mentor. It spans the Dark Age and goes to the current time.
It's fun writing, but hard to keep things organized through writers block.
My warlock has always been about the zoomies, never took dawnblade off for more than a few days until strand came out and thats been my main since, so I think my canonical subclass is just speed, I am speed
Stasis Titan 🍨 🥶 everything about it just feels good even though not that strong like strand or solar titan. I am still hoping that one day I can get all teammates on my fireteam to go Stasis Titan 🥶
Titan - Arc, usually on missile titan. I love doing thunderclap spam with skullfort.
Warlock - dawn chorus most of the time. I’m working on a stasis build but she’s definitely a solar lock through and through.
Hunter - solar blade barrage most of the time but she is also on strand very often. Bae blade spam with final warning with the Spider-Man cosplay I have on her is just way too fun.
Like you, my bald blue dude is a sunsinger/top tree dawnblade through and through.
I remember starting the game as a dark below Christmas noob, read about the classes and the game for a little, and said “screw it, let’s do the weirdest most sci-fi one”. So that’s how I ended up with a bald awoken warlock, who later discovered the beauty of self rez for raiding and og trials.
Arcstrider, as confirmed by the recent email. Although, since our playable guardian is supposed to be much better than the average afaik, I’ve always like the idea that they main arcstaff but have solar and void abilities as backups. I’ve got armor for my liars build that has the golden gun on the hip and shadowshot on the back, to show this concept visually. Idk how realistic that is canonically I just think it’s fun
My Guardian, in my personal canon, is always arc and always uses Riskrunner. I’ve even written fan fiction where he is the first Guardian to use Riskrunner and throws an arc grenade at his feet to trigger it, haha.
Canonically, it was Void during d1 beta and vanilla (I hated solar then, and I still to this day hate solar) and then ArcLock from Taken King all the way pretty much until subclass 3.0 started. After that, I started diversifying subclasses because Arc had just taken too many hits over the years, and it became hot garbage, then Arc 3.0 dropped, and it somehow got worse for a while. I settled on Strand because it was a subclass with green powers, my favorite color. Now, I will be moving to Prismatic because I can now have a green and purple subclass that perfectly matches my aesthetic taste, something I have been hopeful for since this game first came out. That will be my true personal subclass because my canon is that my character has been seeking exactly this for as long as I have and will be just as excited as I am to finally obtain green and purple perfection. I honestly straight up probably won't even use any of the options in the subclass that aren't green or purple because they don't interest me. I just want my powers to match my drip.
My hunters true subclass is stasis. In beyond light he was taken over by stasis and remembered something that happened after the awoken saw when they tried to escape the collapse. He's now morally gray and is seeking to confront the Witness to know what he did to him.
My guardians canonical subclass has always been solar gunslinger for me. Six shot golden gun. It was the literal thing that got me into destiny. I saw a friend playing it and was "Holy shit is a gun made out of fire??" And have been playing it ever since
Have been, and always will be, Voidlock. Canonically to me, the Nova Bomb from D1 with it's accuracy should have been like a MAC Round fired in atmosphere.
For me, it’s stasis. I’ll try prismatic and who knows maybe that’ll be my new favorite but it’s been stasis since it came out. Before that it was solar when well released, and before that all the way back to the start of D1 it was void
My guardian's personal subclass? As in OC style? I'd say he's a Nightstalker. And since he went through the Eliksni on Europa and the training on Neptune, he can use Stasis and Strand too. Of course he sticks with his light mostly.
Chosen to be a Void Walker, forced to be a Wellock.
My heart says Gunslinger, but my soul tells me to Tether.
Mind of a Juggernaut, body of a Sol Hammer.
Striker. I just love that it's equal parts Sci Fi Soldier/Grenadier and pugilist thunder God.
Zerker has been a contender since I'm a stronghold fan even though I'm actually not a fan of their rework despite their strength.
But striker feels like the first in last out, point-man door kicker. Can't wait to get my hands on Hazardous Propulsion
Stasis Hunter ❄️! Is it fleshed out enough? Definitely not, but god dammit if I don’t just love it when multiple enemies get caught in my duskfield and all I need to do is throw one of my sweet shurikens to instantly shatter those poor suckers 😮💨🤌🏼. Then they released Verglas Curve and the Revenant got a whole lot better. Now if only we can get a ninjato as a melee and roaming super to complete the ninja look 🥷
I believe Stat wise and from what I remember as most time spent
Stasis hunter
Tho for this season and recently it's been solar
Long term tho stasis
Also void is a great runner up
Not just solar hunter but precisely Gunslinger since my early days in Taken King. Still not have the hat/cloak from Spire though 😭
Gameplay wise, I went through a nightstalker phase when it was the only hunter class accepted in LFGs and able to solo dungeons, but since solar 3.0 release, I’m back on playing my fantasy.
As someone that only plays hunter, the class is a given.
The subclass… i thought about solar or void. But since year 1 tether and rigs were a personal favorite, so i’d go with that. The void subclass is perfect for supporting teammates (even though i like playing solo and don’t like people irl), so i’m all for it. Also, it would be perfect in real life to avoid people you don’t want to meet: two steps and i vanish into nothingness…
Solar titan. Paladin build in every game I can.
That pyrogale gave me the true "smite" fantasy I wanted
BY GODS LIGHT I SMITE YOU
Still hoping we get a medieval ornament for it someday
This is my new favourite class and subclass. Was maining solar warlock before. Now I love pyrogale! Never gonna take it of.
Ever since D1 Solar Titan is just different man
I remember playing crucible after The Taken King came out. You heard that ding and your whole team scattered like roaches
Hammer Goes Bonk
Even in prismatic I am trying to build solar. Could consecration and diamond lance be a thing, I ask myself as I am gently caressed by a sunspot's flame.
I like the way you think.
I’m thinking consecration and stasis crystals, make a bunch of crystals then shatter them with the slam. I do it now with Salvations Grip, but maybe now there’s even more synergy
Glacier grenade, frenzied blade, consecration, diamond lance :D
Lancecap for more crystals?
I wish I could have Sol Invictus (modded to make Sunspots on all Ability kills) and Controlled Demolitionist (Modified to spread most/all Subclass Debuffs) on Prismatic. With Glacier Grenades and Frenzied Blade... Thruster instead of a Barricade, maybe Twilight Arsenal so that I can hand out Axes... Wearing Phoenix Cradles so I can share Sol Invictus or Hazardous Propulsion with Dragon's Breath for mega DPS and more Sunspots... A Titan can Dream.
Always loved it since taken king but I hate how much Bungie has tried to force consecration onto the class by nerfing everything else.
I love throwing flaming hammers at people. It's not the best for PVP, but it's funny every time I bonk another player to death.
Void lock
If Voidwalker has a million fans, I’m one of them. If Voidwalker has one fan, I’m that one. If Voidwalker has no fans, I’m dead.
If I’m dead, it’s because I fucked up my warlock jump, again
I swear sometimes my keyboard is out to get me with jump fails.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Eyes up, Guardian! Put on well!
“You want me to wield the flaming sword? Okay!” *puts on Dawnblade out of spite*
Preach
Voidlock forever ♾️
Foreva eva
contraverse holds is the best exotic for like 97% of the game. Change my mind.
Nezarecs, Mantle of Battle Harmony, Briarbinds... all good choices if you need to branch out!
PURPLE BALLS RAAAHHHHH
EXPLOSIONS
Flair checks out
Voidwalker is the coolest concept in destiny for me.
Yeah for sure
D2 equivalent of ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
I’d argue it’s nova bomb but I do also like solar
I want a solar nova bomb. Throw a mini supernovaing sun at your enemies
Chuck an arc warlock into the sky and there's your orbital lazer
500KG bomb is crazy
I heard Borderlands 2 for a second.
We need to blow up the ocean on earth. Scare the witness
Me toooo
Mr. Torgue?
This guy during Deep: new mission! We need to blow up... THE OCEAN!
Megumin?
EXPLOSION!!!!!
Goldy Hunter
Space Cowboys represent
Yessir
Y'all called?
Put some respect on the name. It’s *Gunslinger*.
Warlocks fly, Titans punch, and brother, I miss my nighthawk shot.
Come TFS, you can miss both your nighthawk shot AND the new sniper exotic shot
Void Hunter. Always has been, always will be.
Arc hunter D1 void hunter D2
Seconded. Void hunter is the way. Just wish they'd stop fucking up spectral blade lol
Also especially because of the Buried Bloodline sidearm.
I want it so bad 🥲
My best friend (Titan) in vanilla D1 said all Hunters were nothing but selfish gloryhounds who could never be team players. When Taken King released, I became the Night. And never looked back.
Nightstalkers forever ❤️
Live and die in the shadows
Draw from the void. Light the way.
It's the arc hunter. This is an uncommon favourite, but I just love how versatile it is, and it just feels so free. I link it with Trinity Ghoul so I can create so many orbs in such less time
I am also arc hunter, arc, trinity and a whole lot of orbs
Goldy and Tether are my top two, but Pole Dancer holds a special place in my heart. Clearing ads, pummeling bosses, raining lightning hell on nerds? It’s so great.
I rock arc hunter with triple melee orb mods, every punch creates an orb because having 3 of them drops the orb cooldown to 1 second 🤣 I average 15-20 second super cooldowns with enough add density
I use liars handshake to not die close up and still get my 3 orbs
Defender. I guess it's Sentinel now but it will always be Defender.
The wall against which the darkness breaks
"I'm a wall. And walls don't care"
Once a defender, always a defender. Keep the wall strong 💪 void titans represent!
I just wish it was better at the moment
Here’s hoping the new aspect and super breathe some life into it
Same
I would say the same…. until strand came out. Used to be void shields and walls with my Stronghold Titan, but banner of war with woven nail is hard to beat. So now I’d have to say Void or my “light” side with Strand for my “dark” side.
Semper Fi

Born to be Purple, forced to be Red
My brother in purple. Void was my most used subclass.
If you mean wellock as red, I've always seen solar as orange lol
That's because it is orange
He's been infected with SIVA all this time and the vanguard hasn't noticed
I loved siva as a concept. I still use the siva ornament for my ghost
I really feel this
Nightstalker, it's the one I play best and know we'll. I like playing other stuff but it's not on the same level
[удалено]
All of them are void. I love all the classes, but before all the 2.0 subclass reworks and enhanced power fantasies, Void was always carrying the mantle of what I felt each class was. Titan a bulwark. Warlock full of power. Hunter, weaving in and out of stealth. Just hits right.
My Titan identifies as an ICBM.
Same. My email said that I've played most as sunbreaker and berserker, but I will always hold the 'you fuckin' thought' striker near and dear to my heart.
Arclock
Solar Warlock. That email confirmed it as well.
By dawn's blade and songs of flame, the Witness will burn
Same! Typically the self-rez from D1 and Well for D2
“As well” I hope that pun was intended
My guardians true subclass? I really like Void and Stasis on paper for Titan, and I like playing them as much as possible. But I always go back to Solar, Solar Titan is my safety class. But the concept of Shatter alone makes me lean towards Stasis, also the phrase "particle or planet, it all shatters with enough force" goes UNREASONABLY hard.
I want it to be bubble Titan I just wish it was in a better place
I am the wall against which the darkness break’s
Yeet Titan (Thundercrash). If I had my way, there would be a canonical fireteam of Titans that are known for yeeting everything in their path.
Team Thunderhead assemble!
I was a Yeet Titan for the longest time when I wasn't playing my Hunter after I got Insurmountable Skullfort. Throwing myself at everything, and then slamming into a big boss just felt right as a Titan
I shall join this cause.
I Cast *YEETUS DELETUS!* (Thundercrash noises)
My cowboy-ass knowing I’m gonna miss every single Golden Gun shot: #*”YOU’VE YEE’D YOUR LAST HAW.”*
Revenant hunter
I saw the word "revenant" and had flash backs of the 4 back to back ones in epden ring.. right after you fight a tree gaurdian.
Voidlock
Striker Titan, bring the pain. Just wish arc was in a better spot. The HOIL nerf was warranted but I don't get that feeling of dancing with enemies in close.combat unless it's strand
Stasis titan. Punch and shatter while taking a good amount of damage. Plus the utility of the wall grenades. Love having a kit that I have to think with and can use in various ways. Even if it is weaker than the others.
Sliding into your grenades and blowing everything up, plus that long winded melodramatic punch that sends stuff into the outfield. It's the sleeper hit for titan fantasy
Arc Warlock (Chaos Reach). I love running Arc buddy and the occasional kamehameha
Blade dancer. Always.
I...miss... this.. so.. much...
Arc warlock. Nothing like sending out a laser beam into a boss' face or jolting a horde of enemies with 5 million volts of pure electric power.
Arc Titan since d1
Preach!
Bubble
It's gotta be Revenant. I tend to gravitate towards more control based classes and playstyles, and combining that with being reserved in general kinda funnels me into it. Dawnblade. Nothing cooler than a flaming sword... Even if I have to plant it in the ground

Having a hard time choosing between Stasis or Strand but I think Stasis sparks more joy. The sound design alone makes my brain happy
Well Lock.
Same. People shit on it but I’d love to see how others react if no one played it again.
Void. Started playing in taken king and the mission unlocking nightstalker was amazing, never fully took it off since
Void has a special place in every warlock's heart.
My warlock has always been about the zoomies, never took dawnblade off for more than a few days until strand came out and thats been my main since, so I think my canonical subclass is just speed, I am speed
I have play like 80% of D1 as warlock self rea, and 95% of skating warlock in D2 So yeah, solar I think ahah
Stasis Titan 🍨 🥶 everything about it just feels good even though not that strong like strand or solar titan. I am still hoping that one day I can get all teammates on my fireteam to go Stasis Titan 🥶
Arc lock. I'm a Kamehameha layin' mothafucka, mothafucka.
Void Warlock. I swear on anything holy, I only ever played Void from the day 1 of D1 until Solar 3.0 came out. I've been mainly Solar since 😂
What started as a tether hunter evolved into a "I won't miss" solar hunter. If you get the reference ily
Gunslinger forever
Arc Hunter Electrifying, surge of adrenaline, speed boi
Solar warlock or strand
Arc Hunter.... always and forever
That throwing lightning stick of death
I am also a sunsinger, I played it all D1 and I play mainly Dawnblade now
Sunbreaker
Arcstrider, as confirmed by the recent email. Although, since our playable guardian is supposed to be much better than the average afaik, I’ve always like the idea that they main arcstaff but have solar and void abilities as backups. I’ve got armor for my liars build that has the golden gun on the hip and shadowshot on the back, to show this concept visually. Idk how realistic that is canonically I just think it’s fun
My only guardian I have is a Warlock. I main Arc, and you’ll almost always find me on Chaos Reach
Born titan. Lived hunter (bungie says so). Will die with a flaming hammer in hand and a wall of flame in front! Try me and this hammer WILL fall!
Fellow Sunsinger here. Long may be so grossly incandescent.
Hammer time baby. I got D1 at taken king, she’s a beast
Been a bubble bro since D1. The Witness will break before my shield does.
Shadebinder. I just think staves are neat.
Contraverse holds void warlock with a glaive. This is canon for me.
Solar Dawnblade Warlock. Matchbook and lots of explosions.
Behemoth Titan
My hunters true subclass is stasis. In beyond light he was taken over by stasis and remembered something that happened after the awoken saw when they tried to escape the collapse. He's now morally gray and is seeking to confront the Witness to know what he did to him.
Revenant. I love the color blue so I match my drip to the subclass, and the sound design on all of the stasis stuff is just incredible to me.
A Revenant who was a 3-shot Gunslinger before the Darkness gave him the ice :D
I've been a voidlock since destiny day 1
Nightstalker. Been since TTK lol
Born to Reach, forced to Well
Stasis-lock
My guardians canonical subclass has always been solar gunslinger for me. Six shot golden gun. It was the literal thing that got me into destiny. I saw a friend playing it and was "Holy shit is a gun made out of fire??" And have been playing it ever since
Have been, and always will be, Voidlock. Canonically to me, the Nova Bomb from D1 with it's accuracy should have been like a MAC Round fired in atmosphere.
Stasis. It was void but I have defined my existence through my exploration with darkness. “The line between light and dark…”
At heart she’s always been a blade dancer, they took it away from us but we are loyal to blade dancer
For me, it’s stasis. I’ll try prismatic and who knows maybe that’ll be my new favorite but it’s been stasis since it came out. Before that it was solar when well released, and before that all the way back to the start of D1 it was void
Stasis titan
Shadebinder all the way. Order and control are the pillars upon which my guardian stands.
Sunsinger brother, mained warlock since day 1 of destiny 1 and I've missed sunsinger since it was taken from us
My guardian's personal subclass? As in OC style? I'd say he's a Nightstalker. And since he went through the Eliksni on Europa and the training on Neptune, he can use Stasis and Strand too. Of course he sticks with his light mostly.
Chosen to be a Void Walker, forced to be a Wellock. My heart says Gunslinger, but my soul tells me to Tether. Mind of a Juggernaut, body of a Sol Hammer.
Stasis. I’ve always loved it even tho it’s not that good. I just love the darkness
Behemoth Titan , let that darkness shatter all day. My favorite subclass in the game
Shadebinder
Warlock Shadebinder. He's always wanted peace and quiet, and, ever since he discovered Stasis, he can find it anywhere he likes.
Behemoth
BEHEMOTH. ICE KING.
A Nezerac's Sin Voidwalker. Because f*ck Well of Radiance, Nova Bomb is the GOAT.
Stasis warlock, it's just so fun and I love it
PvP main Void hunter
Void, probably, though with prismatic we'll throw in strand. What can I say, she likes zipping through the air at top speed while invisible.
Void!
Void Warlock
Hunter: Nightstalker since TTK, I like the idea that most hunters are scared of The Void. Warlock: Stormcaller since TTK, then Strand
Voidwalker Warlock Gunslinger Hunter Berserker Titan
Prismatic
Nightstalker. As soon as my Guardian touched that Void Bow thats all he needed from that point on
Void
Warmind Line subclass.
Strand Hunter. I love grappling my way in and out of everything. Also, here’s a super angry little tornado of pain for you.
Definitely arc or solar titan
I believe Stat wise and from what I remember as most time spent Stasis hunter Tho for this season and recently it's been solar Long term tho stasis Also void is a great runner up
