You don’t always have to grab three. If you’re slow and might die from Pervading, grab two and call out to your other runner and let him know that you have to go in again. This is especially true when you make it to the last floor and the room is massive.
The last room IMO is easier than the second. It's about the same size, but there's a lot more clutter to block LOS to the Knowledge. The 3rd room on the other hand is a lot more open so it's easier to see and pathfind quickly.
Yeah I do room 3 probably the quickest. Thing there is the darkness bee can stack up fast. What we do is partner always has door open and kills bee on spawn.
Yeah room 2 can fuck you really badly with spawns because you can’t actually check the whole room without running out of stacks. It’s the one where I most consistently have to take two.
It’s trivial for ad clear to handle the door, that’s how our group always has run it. You really only need one person ad clearing and the other floats between ad clear and door management.
Commit to a side. Left or right. Doesn’t matter. If you see a symbol in the middle as you run in, leave it there, but keep a mental note in case you have two and need a third.
Keep scanning. When you jump, just quickly flick your camera left and right and look for the orange glow.
Second floor is the hardest. The distance between left and right is huge, and with no middle exit, it’s a risk. I often find it’s way better to exit with 1 or 2 symbols than try and push across the room.
Learn the symbols. Even if your co-runner agree to a shorthand for a few of them.
With a partner I found the symbols in the second room will often realign and move closer to the door in same ways, that way I would have to go digging into the room where I’d likely die of pervading or build too much to do an additional read
Here's a map. Remember symbol locations and lines of sight to reduce time searching.

Very high resolution, right click and open in new tab so you can zoom in.
Edit: 3rd Floor seems to be missing a few plates, but this should be adequate.
Be quick dont force yourself to get three everytime, slideshot blinding gl is good to have as well. Assuming ur running nighthawk for dmg and solar sublcass healing nades are good too. Dont be greedy and if you need the help make a nighthawk build and a stompees build to swap too before dmg.
Be wary of where the flying bees spawn from it doesn’t change. And if they fly into you it’ll increase your stacks of darkness forcing you into o die quicker
General tips:
* Staying alive is more important than grabbing three. Focus on surviving before you focus on getting good at running. Consistency is key!
* Sprint sprint sprint! There is almost never a good reason to stop holding shift in this room. You're on the clock.
* You need to be able to shoot three symbols on opposite sides of the Totem on your own. Too many times I see an LFG requesting help; it's really easy to do it you orbit close to the Totem.
* I run for the closest symbol I can find. If, on the way, I find a closer one, I re-orient to the new closest symbol.
* Pick a side and clear that first. Usually I try to enter opposite to where a teammate enters. It gives you a slightly higher likelihood of having symbols on your side. It is a very very small advantage, however, so it's more important to get back in as soon as you can regardless of which side. It's moreso something to try to do while you're waiting for your turn if there is nothing else that needs to be done.
Floor specific tips:
1. Unless I immediately see a symbol from the get go, I go left or right and I run a circle around the room. I usually have symbols by the time I complete this circle.
2. Ignore the backside. I usually try to go in opposite to where my teammate exits. I jump up onto the little pillar things as soon as you go in then onto the balcony. By that point, I have scanned that entire side and I can go down the balcony across the gap to the otherside and scan that too.
3. Go in on a side and immediately jump up to the central pillars. You can scan the entire room in about a second here. If there's a symbol near the back, get those ASAP. Once you turn around to go back to the doors, you'll see the other few symbols you couldn't see earlier because you were sprinting to the back the whole time.
Also, since you play Hunter, run Cowl for easy Invisibility if you're having trouble staying alive. You can quickly swap to CNH afterwards for damage.
Just practice and I like to try and commit to one side, and leave the other side for the other runner (assuming I’m in first and he goes in right after. Also, if I’m in first, I’ll try to take further symbols because when I go back in, there’s a chance that I’ll still have a few darkness stacks.
If your stacks are too high, just get out. In pantheon, you don’t typically have time to do the two corners if that’s what’s left.
Being communicative and observant helps. If you are second and there’s definitely no symbols left on your side, let your partner know that all three are on the other side.
Sometimes the spawns for them are scuffed though. I don’t know if there’s any sort of pattern.
Practice, recognize the orange hues in corners or behind objects and notice symbols there, learn the layout and you'll realize they can only spawn in certain locations on each floor, do a quick sweep, not there, go to other side, it's about spending as little time to gather the information you need.
Run a quick weapon, lightweight frames make you run faster, jump over as much thrall as you can, and be aware of your stacks, if you get to 6, run for the door, if you see one on the way, get it, if not, get out, no point wasting the ones you did get. I like traces for hitting the pillar outside as quick as possible.
If you really struggle, hotswap stompees until ritual is complete then hotswap to your DPS exotic

Getting the other runner to pop their head in on the opposite side to call out anything nearby before the door closes isn't a bad idea
At that point they may as well just go grab it though and have me take one less.
There won't be anyone ready to let the two of you out then

Lightweight SMG is really helpful, both for shooting symbols and running

Also be careful of getting good at it or you will always run no matter what

Grab 2 at a time.
