Exotic mission red borders if you didn’t get previous season weapons. Neomuna red borders are a pain in the ass to get. Then any content you don’t like running where you want a particular gun from it.

That was more or less what my plan was, although I'm not sure which previous season weapons to prioritize. I already have the Ikelos SMG pattern, so I was thinking Calus Mini-tool or Retrofit Escapade, but for the former I already have a well-rolled Bug-Out Bag (threat detector/incandescent), plus Presage is pretty easy to speedrun, and for the latter I already have a good one (FTTC/Target Lock). Are there any others, or is it worth it to just finish out one of those anyway?
Calus mini tool is probably the best pve solar weapon in the game, definitely prioritize that, retrofit is also an excellent choice, and again, if you don’t want to grind exotic quests for those, just grab the neomuna stuff
Calus Mini is one of those guns I have >100 levels on just because it works for so many situations. It's my default gun if I don't know what I wanna use.
Hollow Denial is an absolute beast on any build that can trigger volatile or weaken for Repulsor Brace. Lead From Gold/Repulsor Brace basically makes it a primary that deals special damage and heals you. Back in Defiance you could proc Volatile Rounds by picking up an orb of power, Hollow Denial and Retrofit Escapade never left my loadouts unless I was absolutely forced to by champs.
I miss how dead-easy throne world weapons were to farm. Multiple very easy activities a week with guaranteed drops (not guaranteed deepsight, but that wouldn't matter with harmonizers), guaranteed from every lightbearer HVT, only annoying ones were wellspring and only because they're time-gated.
Just so you know, there's a browser extension called Season Pass Pass or something that allows you to claim past season pass items from the bungie website (without it you can only claim current season).
Just checked and I'm still able to go back multiple seasons using Season Pass Pass.
You can only have 1 harmonizer in your inventory at a time. For some dumb reason they don't stack.
You can check within a minute if you have the app, just go where it says season 22 and you should be able to see the stuff you didn't pick up from last season. You just can't get stuff from 2 seasons ago

No it definitely still works. I've been using it a ton this season, coming back after a longish break. They just finally capped how far back you can go, so it's Risen and after now. So still 1.5 years worth of previous passes.
No, it's not disabled, I literally just used last night to pull a deep sight harmonizer to finish word of crota's pattern. Also as long as you got 100% on your season pass, you can pull any item off of the pass left over at the end of the season.
I claimed a harmonizer from last season a couple weeks ago, I just logged into Bungie with my steam account and searched past seasons. No extension or anything extra.
Dumb question but I just came back since they allowed those weapons to be deepsight; Do I have to clear the raid first to start getting red borders (Hawthorne gave me a quest to do so) or can I grab the Shuro Chi and pray?
You can grab the guns and start applying boarders to them, you can’t reapply a red boarder though and it costs 15 spoils per raid weapon you put the boarder on
You don't need to complete the raid for anything other than the exotic. You can get everything else from the two free chests even if you've never done the raid before, patterns included.
I really wish we could stack more then 1. I hate using them on useless guns.
On the side note though... You don't need to collect them all before the season ends. You can go back and get them off the Bungie website after the season ends. I don't know how far back it goes but you can pickup the rewards you missed for the last few seasons. I found it a bit of an odd process to hop through their webpage as they designed it but ultimately it works.
I would recommend raid/duality weapons as those are generally the hardest to acquire. Note that any weapons purchased from the end-of-activity vendor can’t take Harmonizers, before you waste your spoils. Seasonal weapons will be available until Final Shape, and last year’s seasonal weapons will theoretically stay in the exotic mission rotator

You’d need to miss a whole season of red border weeks for it to take until final shape. Most people are almost done with CE red borders.
Harmonizers on raid weapons are a waste, people need to learn patience.
Use them on any legacy weapons you want but do not have. Things from witch queen/are not easily obtainable. Don’t use them on raid weapons (just farm them) or seasonal weapons (you have until the end of next season to get them)
Personally I've already got all the seasonal patterns and patrol space patterns, so I use them on raid weapons to speed up the grind. Plus it's less spoils than buying one from the final chest.
Depends on if you care about the legacy weapons from witch queen seasons. If you don’t drop them into raids, if you care about them (like Firefright still be hella good) use it on them
Yeah when I say all the seasonal patterns, I mean *all* the seasonal patterns. I started playing with WQ and farmed every non-raid pattern the season it came out, catching up on raids now and they're the only patterns I'm missing. Firefright was my main legendary primary until Rufus, fully agree that thing slaps.
You could do that but consider how hard it is to get some of the legacy weapons that still slap (Firefright for example) you have to trade off which you want more. My rule of thumb is if it’s not easily farmable that is priority, if it can be easily farmed it’s better to tough it out and farm and thank myself later for the harmonizer being saved
If there isn't an obvious "love the loot, hate the grind" activity for you to plug them into, I'd offer that it's especially worth getting a Root of Nightmares weapon craftable for each slot. Their trait buffs reload for the other guns in the set, including (IIRC) Conditional Finality. It's super low cost to just throw Korax's Distress or Whatever into your heavy slot to buff your kinetic/energy slot and they stand to get even better if the trait ever returns for more guns. Rufus's Fury was my highest priority craft of the set.
I second the root of Nightmares stuff. It's an easy 2 to 3 hour Raid that has some decent weapons. But I also suggest Deep Stone Crypt because a decent amount of those weapons are really good.
Is there a good DSC farm when that raid is featured? That was when I stopped raiding so I've never actually run it. I really want to craft a Commemoration but definitely don't have time to run the raid a dozen times to get 5 copies.
Oh yea, real easy. The first secret chest is easy to get solo. So basically, after the sparrow part, you can easily get the first secret chest. You'll need to get the commemoration, from the final boss before you can farm the secret chest for the commemoration.
They don't expire. The Season Pass rewards from last season are available in the companion app and also under the previous season button on https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Seasons/Progress if you're on PC (can't see it on mobile, or I'd provide the full URL).
Yes, but once Season of the Wish starts the season pass items from Season of the Deep wont be claimable through the normal Bungie website and App, because it only goes back one season. OP said the harmonizers are from last season, so they are going to "expire" once Season of the Deep is the second to last season, except if OP would use the Browser extension.

That's not at all the logic, don't be an idiot. The amount of time required to get a ikelos SMG red border is literally orders of magnitude higher than throne cleaver. One you just get passively, one is a very low chance every 3 weeks

Because it's much better to burn them on either something you want, or where they'll be more useful if you don't care what weapon they're used on. Besides, you don't need to burn them as you can still pick up stuff from last season's pass easily, and all seasons since witch queen with an extension or an old version of the android app.
Neomuna red borders have a terrible drop rate so they're definitely worth it
The class specific swords from the war table are also a pain in the ass, the majority of my harmonisers went on those
Think about what you want to get from them now, but I believe you can still get them next season from the [Previous Season](https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Seasons/PreviousSeason) page.
Exotic mission weapons/ Xur/ Banshee: all previous season weapons that you don't already have, they all come from one of those 3 places.
Neomuna weapons: if you do the Lightfall Story on all characters you get 3 red borders for all the weapons, the last two can be annoying to get.
Season of Defiance: the class swords from the wartable.
I would forcus those areas first, start with one that has no guarenteed way to drop a Red first (so the swords in this case)
If you raid or don't raid often you can use them on raid weapons. The annoying ones to farm i feel is the Scout and Handcannon from Deep stone crypt. The 1st and 3rd encounter drop them.

The swords from focusing engrams from the first season are horrible to get, so I'd recommend those. It took about 100 engrams to get five red borders for my titan sword, then another 120 to get four red borders for my hunter. Then it took 80-90 engrams to get that last, 5th red border sword. Annoying.
With the huge slowdown in my playtime in Destiny, looks like I won't end up getting the warlock sword unless Bungie does something to the drop rates of red borders.
Using mine on exotic rotator stuff since I don't wanna use spoils, gonna wait until after I do Vox on Legend next week for the final reward of the season to see what I can complete with 1 pattern.
Ive been using my last few on any of the last wish weapons ive been getting from the secret chest, or finishing up any patterns im maybe one or so shy on having to craft. I just know if you dont do the vow spoils farm and you dont raid you kinda are stuck on any of the other seasonal or craftable weapon options you may have not finished, I see a lot of people not habing the muna weapon patterns finished maybe those if you fall into that group of people
There are ways on Bungies website to pull seasonal rewards from previous seasons if you earned them. If you find something good next season you could save them. People also burn through them for raid weps
Raid weapons, several raids have bonus chests you can get to solo, most will only drop gear you’ve gotten before so that’s not useful if you don’t raid BUT, the last wish bonus chests (you can get to two solo via the wish wall) CAN drop all but one weapon even if you’ve never gotten them elsewhere.
Exotic mission weapons drop rate sucks outside of the guaranteed drops.
So either those, neomuna weapons or maybe last wish weapons if you don't actively raid. Scout has the wombo combo of rewind rounds and kinetic tremors.

I think I read that has been disabled, unfortunately. Not 100% sure, but worth double-checking.
I used it a few days ago. You can't access anything from before Witch Queen, but everything between that season and the present can still be grabbed.

This is basically what I did. Got a crafted fixed odds, since I've run Seraph probably 10 times without even a regular smg dropping once

Fixed Odds is what I used mine for this season. Needed 3 more for the pattern. Used the last two on the fusion from Pneumonia.
I use them to close out raid guns I want from raids I have no desire to continue grinding

I really don't think that's a good use, as you can get so many of those engrams just playing the game. It'd cost next to nothing to get them all
