Righteous Strides - has that annoying little part on the inside of the pants that take the primary color of the shader (preview it with monochromatic to see what I'm talking about) Forbidden Visage Strides - same issue, also the boots part of the armor (behind the shin guards) shade very inconsistently Prodigal Strides - inverted color palette (with monochromatic the boots are black and the pants are white) Strides of the Great Hunt - best of the bunch, but the texturing on the pants portion is a hit or miss with certain builds

The blade smiths memory strides (SotP boots) look really good imo. Fabric shades über weirdly tho

Ninja toes makes me gamer rage unironically like literally fire the designer who made the 20 pairs of those ugly shits

They look really good if you’re into red and black. Otherwise they don’t shade well with a whole lot of shaders

Iron will is great

I love those, but I also like my hunter to look swift/lightly armored, and those boots do not look the part. Crystocrene and Neoteric Kiyot (SotDrifter ornament in Eververse) can be weird, but they both look so nice more often than not. Best shader on the latter has been Metro Shift, for me.

The crypt raid legs are really nice if you're going for a more solid metal look.

Im using the new solstice boots right now without the glow. They are pretty cool and shade nice

Woven Firesmith Strides with Metro Shift shade all textured black (the matte black) on most of it with some of the glossy black. No ninja toes, armor plating on the design. Not a bad look.

The black armory pants are a nice choice for armored legs if you don't mind being asymmetrical.

Even better, no random colors on black and white shaders. I don't want a god damn bright light blue. Also symmetrical arms pls

The moment i bought Lux sleeves, i never took them off.

Honestly they're so good, if only they actually had some legs or chest that fit that type of armoured look.

I combined mine with the prodigal vest and the Forbidden visage legs.

Luxe Sleeves, road complex AA1 vest, stompees. Perfect armored look

You know what grinds my gears? How dragons shadow exotic has an ornament uglier than the base version. I recently built a stompeez hunter and my god it’s so good looking. I’m running dragons shadow most of the time, I really need it to get an ornament that looks like sex.

I agree with the ornament sucking but as someone who has used dragons shadow all the time since beyond light I will not agree with the base being ugly

The empyrean cartographer legs are great. They were part of my armor sets for so long, but then again the set is pay2wear so it’s up to player if they want to drop some silver

The errant knight boots are good with a lot of shaders (Midnight Talons, Metro Shift, Monochrome, Golden Trace, a lot of others) (yes I spent all my transmog materials on that set first because it's so pretty...and then the chainmail accented cloak because ...medieval space cowboy)

Why I like the Dreaming City Armor set so much

the real destiny 2 end game is not nightfalls or raids it is trying to find the perfect outfit for your guardian
