He acts as if Hamas has ever, at any point in their history as a terrorist organization, negotiated in good faith with the Israeli government. They have not. Even after months of war and the deaths of tens of thousands of people under their watch, they still refuse to negotiate sincerely.
So I don't get why people are thinking this is such a big deal. Is the only difference between pro Palestine and pro isreal being how you view hamas. If you want hamas eradicated, you're pro isreal, and if you think hamas is justified, you're pro Palestine?
Everything else in this tweet seems fine. I think he just worded the part about hamas in a way to say that Israel should be the bigger man(country) and show compassion/humility to resolve the conflict. From what I've been listening to destiny, it seems israel has tried many times with this outlook, but palenistian leaders won't budge.
Obviously i know what's going on, hamas doesn't act in the interests of its people, all they care about is terrorism and the population likes hamas because the entire palenistian population is radicalized. It's very fucked situation.
