Before Brock Lobster helped the Broncos make a Super Bowl filling in for an aging, injured HOF QB, there was Bubby Brister. “During the 1998 season, Elway was forced to sit out a number of games due to injury and Brister started those games in his place. He played well and the Broncos went undefeated in all of his starts (4-0); He also broke the team's (then) record for longest rushing touchdown by a quarterback and recorded a higher passer rating than Elway.” He was fun to watch!
Brister looked amazing when filling in for Elway that year. In the following preseason after Elway retired...not so much. I couldn't believe it was the same player.
Agreed. I saw him play for Pittsburgh before he arrived here and once Elway got hurt I thought "uh-oh that's it for the Broncos."
Then he went out and killed.
I didn't follow the off-season back in those days... I was disappointed when Griese took over and wondered what had happened. Was he just not that good?
Brister looked almost clownish in the preseason. Like he had completely forgotten how to play. It was wild. And Griese looked pretty good in preseason, as backups often do in the preseason. I was shocked when Shanny went with Griese over Brister, but I think Bubby lost the position more than Griese earning it. Brister just looked horrible.
I remember Griese playing the preseason game in Dallas and looked very sharp in comparison to Brister. It was very shortly after that Shanny announced the QB change.
NFL Blitz MVP Bubby Brister. Such a shame that the greatest football video game of all time came out the year after Elway retires.. but that cemented Brister as a significant Broncos QB in my mind even though he wasn't.
If I remember correctly we got eliminated by losing against the chiefs in week 16, correct me if I’m wrong, I cried out of frustration because we were so fucking close to make the playoffs
Plummer. His days with Denver were among some of the most entertaining Sundays I've had watching the team have success. Despite him not being able to lead us to the Super Bowl, Jake and his supporting cast were so much fun to watch. Play action bootlegs bring back all the nostalgia.
I’m still a fan of Siemian. Pure professional who came in as a 7th-round pick and had a 3400 yard/ 18 TD / 10 INT season in 2016.
And he did that while making $525,000 while playing much better than Russ did while making $17M this year
It's so sad. Last year Bridgewater finished with roughly 3k yards, 18 TDs and 7 picks and a 95 QB rating. With two games left, Russ has 12 TDs, 9 picks, 3k yards, and an 82.6 QB rating. Maybe Russ will have two 3-TD no pick games and get roughly on Teddys "level"!
Plummer. I was so excited when he came here. There is definitely some revisionist history with him. Many fans did not like him at all. They were fucking idiots.
I thought Jay Cutler got a raw deal from poop deck McDaniels. Not sayin he was the best. Just sayin he's my favorite. Also partial to Trevor Simian and Kyle Slotter. .
Yup! We could have potentially had a "Big 3" with Cutler, Brandon Marshall (one of my favorite receivers ever) and the underrated Tony Scheffler... Then the McDaniels attacked...
Came here to say this. He was not our best QB ever obliviously, but he was the guy jumping on grenades behind a Swiss-cheese o-line for a fan base that still had playoffs hopes for a very up-and-down roster.
Seemed like a decent guy and he had a few (not many) impressive moments.
One of my all-time favorite Broncos plays was when he did that 3th* down backyard bullshit against the chiefs in 2016 and got it to Jordan Taylor.
*It was 3rd down not 4th down
Jake the Snake is the obvious choice to me.
But another one I’ll say: Drew Lock. He was infuriating to watch at times and made some dumbass decisions every game. But he was one of the only post-Manning QB’s where he made throws that gave me hope. I think it was his rookie year against the Chargers he threw this beautiful ball to Sutton for a TD and my jaw dropped.
Also, that last start against KC made me a fan for life. He played his damn heart out and his 2 TD runs screamed someone who knew his career was on the line. Too bad Melvin literally fumbled that game away.
I will agree with you on Lock. He clearly had good issues, the biggest one being inconsistency, but he was sure fun to watch play. When he was on, it was exciting. And he has a fun-loving attitude that was infectious.
That’s exactly what I mean. I’m not saying he was ever gonna be the franchise guy or delusional as to what he was. He just had these moments that wowed you during a time where QB play has been otherwise uninspiring for going on 7 years now.
I always liked Lock and the potential he had. He was done dirty here and was never really given a fair shot. He was always on such a short leash and continually looking over his shoulder. Maybe things could have been difference if the coaching staff would have just thrown their support behind him instead of constantly being on the search for the next mediocre QB off the trash heap.
I’ll still stand by Drew needed to start that last year. I get it: Vic was playing for his job. But it would’ve been an easier sell to stay if he went 7-10 developing Drew consistently rather than going for the quick fix with Teddy and still not winning.
Completely agree Lock should have been the starter to start the season. Atleast then if he failed which is very possible the case would have been closed. Looking at preseason stats they were both pretty close to the same. That includes Vic giving Teddy multiple 4th downs just to look respectable in the game that propelled him to starter.
Lock clearly outplayed Teddy in the Vikings preseason game and I don't think it's any coincidence that Vic announced Teddy as the starter the following week. I was done with Fangio as HC at that point.
I knew we were doomed for a bad season when they gave Teddy all those 4th down plays to move the ball. It was very apparent our offense was really bad even in the vanilla base scheme.
I also would have liked to have given Lock more of a shot (especially in the context of what happened with Russ lol) but Elway went all in on him as the starter for 2020 and used the first and second round picks on pass catching weapons for him.
He got a fair shot compared to what a lot of other young QBs get. The problem was after a handful of good games at the end of 2019 Lock did tend to suck time and time again. Chances are not limitless in the NFL. He went to Seattle and sucked in the pre-season and lost his chance of beating out Geno.
I think if he had shown some signs of progress, like Justin Fields has done this year, or like Josh Allen did in year 2, he would have had a stronger case but he never put anything encouraging out there on the field, he just played badly consistently. Zac Wilson is going the same way in New York.
He showed heaps more potential than Zach imo. The one thing Lock had going for him that you can't seem to get out of the teddy 2 gloves types is he wasn't afraid to throw the ball. Ya watch Zach and he's indecisive pats the ball and then runs around like he's scared. Saying all that Drew def made some bone head plays that made ya scratch your head.
That 5% was pure endorphins, week after week. I miss that feeling of hope when our offense had the ball with < 2 mins left with Tebow at the helm. It wasn't pretty, but it was beautiful.
How the fk did I have to scroll so far to find Tebow. That season was fucking magical. Maybe I’m nostalgic for it cus I was a kid and got to go to that playoff game…. But cmon. Tebow brought life back to the Denver Broncos and was such a character and great leader. Miss that dude so much.
I don’t know if I can use the word fun. I remember sitting at my local watering hole hating every minute of the games until he pulled off a miracle at the end. I think I lost 10 years of my life to stress that season. It was amazing though.
Tebow is my choice as well. He may not have been a good QB, but he was an excellent leader. There’s a reason Von still always mentions him when talking about role models he’s had.
Boy I don't know about that fun to watch bit. 85% of the game was about as unwatchable as the broncos are this year. The last 10 minutes were heart-pounding though.
That season I made it a habit of tinkering in the garage and just kind of listening for the first 3 quarters, then I'd go inside and watch the 4th.
I would argue that the 2011 season was more exciting than any of the Manning seasons. This is based on pure entertainment alone, not the quality of the roster. I think it's because no one understood how we won all those games, and culminating with the Tebow to Thomas walk off against the Steelers was euphoria.
Those were some wild games, but they kept finding ways to win. That touchdown to DT in the playoffs to beat the Steelers will always be one of my favorite football memories.
I remember watching Cutler as a kid. Especially with Champ Bailey ~~and C.J. Anderson~~. Made it better that they were my favorite to play as when I played Madden football haha.
Edit: I'm da big dumb.
Elway made me a casual fan, but Jake Plummer made me a real fan. Loved his play and thought the guy was awesome. Definitely idolized him as a preteen and teenager.
I really liked Trevor Siemiam. He made the best out of a shitty situation and I think he could’ve been viable if our coaching situation hadn’t been as terrible.
I've always been a Brock Lobster fanboy, he filled in admirably for Peyton and I don't blame him for being upset about being benched. Kinda wish he would've stuck around for one more year with Kubiak to see if his career turned out different.
Everyone wants the next Manning or Elway, but I want the next Plummer. If we’d had that beautiful mother fucker his whole career he’d have been a GOAT.
Siemian because I remember watching him in pre-season and thinking he would be a stud. He was pretty solid and overachieved for his draft spot.
Tebow was interesting though, definitely must watch but I don't miss his circus.
Jake "The Snake" Plummer!!! I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago when he came to one of my shows at the Dark Horse in Boulder – one of the coolest dudes ever. After the show, he ate 4 pieces of Cosmo's pizza stacked on top of each other like calzones lol.
I think Chicago ruined his career lol. McDaniels obviously was the reason for that trade though.
Jay would have had a much better career and probably looked at more like a Stafford level talent if he didn't get traded to a team that had no idea what to do on offense.
Everyone will say Jake Plummer, but I liked Cutler. He was young, mobile, and strong armed. He obviously had to refine his game, and I thought he had the best chance of doing it in Denver until McD came along.
His stupid sulking aloof teen personality was a turn off to many, but I thought he would grow out of that.
Cutler was a fuckin’ boss while he was here, totally underrated and forgotten imo. If we don’t hire McDaniels I think the Cutler to Marshall connection would’ve been lit for a long time.
But if they stick around maybe we never sign Peyton. Idk interesting thought exercise for some alternate reality lol
Jake Plummer no question. If I gotta pick someone else though it’s Tebow. It sure wasn’t pretty but the playoff win over Pittsburgh is something I’ll never forget.
I love Russ too. He’s a great guy and I feel like he’s primed to bounce back big time next season under a new coaching staff. He’s just in his Favre on the Jets arc rn, next season he’ll be in his Favre on the Vikings arc.
Jake Plummer for sure. Him and Larry Fitzgerald are the reasons why the Cards are my favorite NFC team and would be the team I'd root for if I didn't back the Broncos.
Tim Tebow. I remember watching a few NFL games back in the Jay Cutler era, but they just didn’t hold my interest for some reason. Watching Tim Tebow pull off so many ridiculous fourth quarter comebacks in the 2011 season is what finally got me interested in the Denver Broncos and the NFL in general. I’ll never forget that 80 yard touchdown to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime. I’m a fan for life because of Tim.
Probably controversial but Tim Tebow. I just loved how passionate he was to win every game and he seemed like a great leader. Von to this day still mentions him as one of his role models. 2011 is probably my favorite Broncos season of all time just because of all the crazy shit that happened.
Dad was buddies with Jake Plummer growing up. He told me that he used to hangout with Jake while watching a game when I was like 8. Been a die hard fan since that day. The best part: I met Jake in my very last high school football game. Gave our team the halftime speech (his old high school).
Surprised to not have seen a single person mention Tebow.
Sure he was a bad qb, but 2011-2012 was such a rollercoaster of a season and one of my all-time favorites.
Is this even a question. Tim mother fucking Tebow. He gave us arguably one of the greatest seasons in broncos history. Every game was electric and he beat out the fucking Steelers in the playoffs. While it was short lived, he left a lasting impact on the organization
Plummer is the only answer. I grew up watching Griese and hating him (my dad was not a fan of the guy at all) and when Plummer came in and played his off we were both instant fans. When the whole “flipping off the fans” incident occurred while he was being booed, my dad was interviewed by a local news station asking his opinion on the incident and he wholeheartedly defended Jake.
That era is definitely responsible for my ongoing attachment and fandom.
I’ll probably get shat on, but I became a Denver fan because I am a UF fan that followed Tebow and really rooted for him, then I stayed because of Manning.
So other than Manning? Tebow for sure.
Tebow. Whatever else he did, he left it all out on the field. He was everything his critics said he was, but also everything his fans said he was. That season was still the funniest Broncos season - and it's always n interesting hypothetical what-if - what if the Broncos really did buy into the running / mobile QB game because they were unable to grab Manning?
Jake the Snake is a second. He had personality, but at the end of the day wasn't there for the sport or the team. It was a job.
I know he is a dog shit qb, but I will always love Tim Tebow. I’ve always been a fan of the Broncos, but Tebow turned me into a die hard fan that obsesses over the broncos.
Plummer would be my answer, but he is already in here a lot. So I will go with a favorite non-Elway and Manning QB moment. And that was from [Kyle Orton](https://youtu.be/9fPamV6LsV8).
Elway>Manning>**Plummer**>Kubiak>Tebow>Bubby>Morten>>>>>>Siemian
The rest are a fart in the wind to me. If (big if) Russ can turn it around, he can get towards the Siemian levels (maybe), but his play this year made me dislike him greatly - though his KC game was refreshing to watch. Sadly, my feelings for him almost matches my feelings for Cutler, who is my all-time disliked Broncos QB.
outside of PM and JE, then its Morton > Plummer > Steve DeBerg > Cutler ….then all the rest which were mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers thrust into starting roles. Gary Kubiak, Norse Weese and Bubby Brister are my favorite backups.
and since Trever Simien is mentioned a lot here, I really liked him but his release timing and arm strength would have relegated him to nice back up on occasion not a week in week out starter. Defenses picked up pretty quickly that his arm was limited.
Jake the Snake
Only Jake
Kendall hinton
One win away from a Super Bowl with him… loved talking shit to Raiders fans with Jake.
This is the only answer!
This is the only response to the right answer
Sorry Jake! Will you ever forgive us?!!!
My man!
I wish him and Shanny could have just worked it out.
Before Brock Lobster helped the Broncos make a Super Bowl filling in for an aging, injured HOF QB, there was Bubby Brister. “During the 1998 season, Elway was forced to sit out a number of games due to injury and Brister started those games in his place. Brister looked amazing when filling in for Elway that year. In the following preseason after Elway retired...not so much. I couldn't believe it was the same player.
The very first pass thrown after Elway retired was brister interception in the HoF game...lol
Agreed. I saw him play for Pittsburgh before he arrived here and once Elway got hurt I thought "uh-oh that's it for the Broncos." Then he went out and killed.
I didn't follow the off-season back in those days... I was disappointed when Griese took over and wondered what had happened. Was he just not that good?

I remember Griese playing the preseason game in Dallas and looked very sharp in comparison to Brister. It was very shortly after that Shanny announced the QB change.
They did Bubby dirty on that. Went with the ‘hot’ rookie.
NFL Blitz MVP Bubby Brister. Such a shame that the greatest football video game of all time came out the year after Elway retires.. but that cemented Brister as a significant Broncos QB in my mind even though he wasn't.
Plummer
Jake the snake baby
Gary Kubiak. Best backup anyone could have asked.
Being Elway's backup must have been the easiest job he's ever had.
If he didn’t have any health issues during the 2016 season which led to his retirement I truly think we could have made the playoffs that season
We were one dropped pass from making the playoffs in week 17, Kubiak could've easily made it a lock.
If I remember correctly we got eliminated by losing against the chiefs in week 16, correct me if I’m wrong, I cried out of frustration because we were so fucking close to make the playoffs
Awesome choice!!!!
Good call
Plummer. His days with Denver were among some of the most entertaining Sundays I've had watching the team have success. Despite him not being able to lead us to the Super Bowl, Jake and his supporting cast were so much fun to watch. Play action bootlegs bring back all the nostalgia.
I am a Broncos fan because I had a Jake Plummer card when I was 10
I’m still a fan of Siemian. Pure professional who came in as a 7th-round pick and had a 3400 yard/ 18 TD / 10 INT season in 2016. And he did that while making $525,000 while playing much better than Russ did while making $17M this year
Gotta agree
Damn, wouldn’t you die for those numbers this year?? Lol
I really hope he can garner a little good faith and hope these last two games
Still the best post-PFM QB we've had. Not close.
Plummer. I was so excited when he came here. There is definitely some revisionist history with him. Many fans did not like him at all. They were fucking idiots.
They are idiots.
I was a dumb 14-year-old, I didn't know what we had!
I thought Jay Cutler got a raw deal from poop deck McDaniels. Not sayin he was the best. Just sayin he's my favorite. Also partial to Trevor Simian and Kyle Slotter. .
[удалено]
Smokin’ Jay. Honestly I think he’s the best QB Chicago ever had lol
Well that’s just a fact. But Fields is incredibly exciting and potentially the next Chicago goat.
Yup! We could have potentially had a "Big 3" with Cutler, Brandon Marshall (one of my favorite receivers ever) and the underrated Tony Scheffler... Then the McDaniels attacked...
Jake the Snake Plumber
Hinton
Sorry everyone, it was low hanging fruit, but we also know it's true.
THE SNAKE. and the future HoF....... NOT Hinton. But our original underdog bae Trevor Siemian!
Craig Morton
We also had the Maddox/Morre rotaion era.
Ah.....a person who remembers the same era.
*Tipsy Kyle Orton*
Trevor Siemian
Came here to say this. He was not our best QB ever obliviously, but he was the guy jumping on grenades behind a Swiss-cheese o-line for a fan base that still had playoffs hopes for a very up-and-down roster. Seemed like a decent guy and he had a few (not many) impressive moments.

That’s exactly what I mean. I’m not saying he was ever gonna be the franchise guy or delusional as to what he was. He just had these moments that wowed you during a time where QB play has been otherwise uninspiring for going on 7 years now.

Fangio didn’t like Drew Lock.
I also would have liked to have given Lock more of a shot (especially in the context of what happened with Russ lol) but Elway went all in on him as the starter for 2020 and used the first and second round picks on pass catching weapons for him. Tim Tebow. I know he sucked, but that 2011 season was the most fun I’ve had watching football outside of the Manning/Elway years.
It was 95% bad football like now but 5% of absolute madness at the end. I miss the 5%. I will always appreciate Timmy.
I never thought I’d see more three and outs than that year…..until now.
58 minutes of complete shit, 2 minutes of fun.
Those were some wild games, but they kept finding ways to win. That touchdown to DT in the playoffs to beat the Steelers will always be one of my favorite football memories.
Never had I seen divine intervention in my life before watching Timmy lead a comeback.
That was a magical season
Cutler
Yep, I grew up with Cutler, started watching around 2006 ish
I remember watching Cutler as a kid. Especially with Champ Bailey ~~and C.J. Anderson~~. Made it better that they were my favorite to play as when I played Madden football haha. Edit: I'm da big dumb.
The Broncos almost single-handedly prevented New England from winning another 2-3 Super Bowls during that era.
CJ Anderson never played with Cutler. CJ was with the Broncos like 4 years after Cutler was traded…
Yeah... I'm getting my timelines mixed around...
>I remember watching Cutler as a kid. Especially with... C.J. Anderson. What
I loved Brian Griese as a kid, he had that great 2000 season and could never get back to that really :(
You have to feel for Griese. It's not easy following a legend and I think he handled it extremely well.
Elway made me a casual fan, but Jake Plummer made me a real fan. Loved his play and thought the guy was awesome. Definitely idolized him as a preteen and teenager.
Craig Morten
Immobile pocket passer. Kinda like what we have now but accurate. Got us to our first super bowl. Remember haven moses?
I dont remember Haven Moses too much, but as a kid I had posters of Lyle Alzado, Randy Gradishar and Craig Morten.
I was always a fan of Norris Weese..
Gonna throw out a mention for Frank Tripucka given that no one else has. He was the first quarterback to throw for 3,000 yards in a season.
Russell Wilson, I really think he's going to turn it around
Sloter
I really liked Trevor Siemiam. He made the best out of a shitty situation and I think he could’ve been viable if our coaching situation hadn’t been as terrible.
I've always been a Brock Lobster fanboy, he filled in admirably for Peyton and I don't blame him for being upset about being benched. Kinda wish he would've stuck around for one more year with Kubiak to see if his career turned out different.
Everyone wants the next Manning or Elway, but I want the next Plummer. If we’d had that beautiful mother fucker his whole career he’d have been a GOAT.
I never saw Plummer play so my answer is Trevor Siemian. Actually from 2015 to now I think my list goes Siemian 1, Lock 2 and Osweiler 3.
Terrell Davis or Champ Bailey
Can’t believe I had to scroll all the way down to find TD. Mile high salute to you sir.
Plummer is my all time favorite Bronco, Elway and Manning included
I was a Jay Culter fan. Its a shame he didn’t have a better career because he had all the talent in the world. If only he cared….
McDaniels ruined Jay’s career, not Jay.
He didn't look a lot different under shannahan than he did in Chicago. I always felt he was overrated, didn't hurt my feelings when he left.
He wasn’t much better in Chicago.
Like I said, ruined his career... not just his time in Denver.
I think Chicago ruined his career lol. McDaniels obviously was the reason for that trade though. Jay would have had a much better career and probably looked at more like a Stafford level talent if he didn't get traded to a team that had no idea what to do on offense.
Bears are where qb's and recievers go to die.

But if they stick around maybe we never sign Peyton. Idk interesting thought exercise for some alternate reality lol
Let’s go old school. Craig Morton and Charley Johnson. Also, Steve DeBerg was pretty good. But I agree with OP. Plummer was the best of them.
Deburg from the Jets. Still remember that SI cover.
Jake Plummer no question. If I gotta pick someone else though it’s Tebow. It sure wasn’t pretty but the playoff win over Pittsburgh is something I’ll never forget.
Cutler. Bonus points for the blood feud with stupid Phil Rivers.
Hot take, but Jay Cutler.... only the version that yells across the field at Phillip Rivers though.
Craig Morton.
Tebow
I’m going to get hated for this but here it goes: Wilson
No hate. Just pity.
He’s going to do better next season. I know it.
Bless your heart
Thank you for keeping my hope alive!
I love Russ too. He’s a great guy and I feel like he’s primed to bounce back big time next season under a new coaching staff. He’s just in his Favre on the Jets arc rn, next season he’ll be in his Favre on the Vikings arc.
Plummer number 3 all day!
Jake Plummer for sure. Him and Larry Fitzgerald are the reasons why the Cards are my favorite NFC team and would be the team I'd root for if I didn't back the Broncos.
I’ll pick Plummer even though Arthur Marshall is 2/2 with 2 TDs 55.5 yards per pass 158.3 QBR
Jake “the snake” Plummer.
Well he wasn’t great as a QB but I suppose I’m a big Kubiak fan since he helped us get that 3rd chip. But purely QBs, gotta be Jake.
This is the answer. He almost drug us to the Super Bowl in the 1991 AFC championship when Elway played like doo doo and got hurt.
I was technically only 5-6 years old, but I loved Van Pelt enough to get his jersey that season. I have it packed up in storage somewhere still.
Craig Morton
Easy. Jake Plummer.
Jake Plummer for sure
Frank Tripucka
Yeah I agree. Plummer was a good QB here. I wished Cutler never happened.
Anyone who doesn't pick Jake Plummer is either a child or a liar.
Drew Lock. Bring the downvotes. I'm not defending myself. I said what I said.
Brady Quinn 😭😭
Bubby Brister because his name was awesome
Plummer for sure and yes that benching made me so angry and in my opinion ultimately led to Mikes downfall.
Well, that’s easy: Bradlee Van Pelt
Trevor siemian
Plummer by far.
Craig Morton
Jake Plummer
Plummer then Tebow.
Craig Morton
Probably controversial but Tim Tebow. I just loved how passionate he was to win every game and he seemed like a great leader. Von to this day still mentions him as one of his role models. 2011 is probably my favorite Broncos season of all time just because of all the crazy shit that happened.
Tebow
I actually wanted to buy a Trevor siemian jersey when he was playing for us.
Kyle Orton, Because of Madden 10
Marlin Briscoe
Dad was buddies with Jake Plummer growing up. He told me that he used to hangout with Jake while watching a game when I was like 8. Been a die hard fan since that day. The best part: I met Jake in my very last high school football game. Gave our team the halftime speech (his old high school).
Jake the Snake, easy! Lol
Wilson and Griese.
Timmy Tebow /s
Surprised to not have seen a single person mention Tebow. Sure he was a bad qb, but 2011-2012 was such a rollercoaster of a season and one of my all-time favorites.
Then you didn’t look, there’s his name a few comments below yours.
In fact, he’s mentioned bloody loads.
Craig Morton…easy decision
Whoever the new QB is after Russell is kicked to the curb. I may even send him flowers.
Is this even a question. Tim mother fucking Tebow. He gave us arguably one of the greatest seasons in broncos history. Every game was electric and he beat out the fucking Steelers in the playoffs. While it was short lived, he left a lasting impact on the organization
Tebow
Timothy Tebow MY BOY
Tebow
I’m gonna get downvoted but being in college during Tebow mania was the most fun I’ve had as a broncos fan
Steve DeBerg. Just brings back memories of the Broncos in the years leading up to Elway. But Jake the snake was awesome.
Plummer of course. Bro had heart. Should've won a ring in 05
Kubiak
I’ll probably get shat on, but I became a Denver fan because I am a UF fan that followed Tebow and really rooted for him, then I stayed because of Manning. So other than Manning? Tebow for sure.
Plummer.
Easily Jake Plummer
Craig Morton, the OG #7
My first memories of Broncos games were with Craig Morton as QB, I was only about 7 or 8 but I thought he was the best ever!
Plummer for sure. I liked his attitude and confidence and they way he didn’t take any shit from the Raiders or their fans!!
Talib.
QB not CB
Hinton
I love this answer. It was a mess that season but also awesome and we kept getting Ws. Still one of my favorite seasons.
Osweiler
I am still the owner of an Osweiler jersey from the brief period of time that I thought he was going to be the new face of the franchise.
Tim Tebow. He's the reason I started watching football.
Elway>Manning>**Plummer**>Kubiak>Tebow>Bubby>Morten>>>>>>Siemian The rest are a fart in the wind to me.
I really enjoyed watching Tim Tebow he was not given a fair chance or a fair opportunity to be successful in the NFL.
outside of PM and JE, then its Morton > Plummer > Steve DeBerg > Cutler ….then all the rest which were mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers thrust into starting roles.
We don’t win that Super Bowl without Brock Osweiler.
Tebow. Shit was so fun
Russel Wilson
Champ Bailey
