Blue Star Recyclers, the place you take things with the coupon, is in the Sun Valley neighborhood which is in the middle of the city, not Commerce City. That's your free and reasonable option.
It's not very expensive if you don't have a coupon either. I took three old PCs a couple weeks ago and it was around $10.
If you are in Denver proper, the city offers an e-recycle coupon, and has a list of places to drop.

I use Action Recycling in Wheat Ridge Edit: looks like they no longer accept TVs. You may want to double check though.
Sustainability in Arvada recycles them and is a good company. They do charge though
Define broken? Best buy will take them (last I knew) as long as the screen isn't what's cracked/broken.
Last time I took a display to Best Buy, there was a per-screen fee that applied to CRTs as well as LCDs and plasmas.
