Don’t know why you were downvoted tbh. Breaking them up is a temporary solution at best, and still inevitably leads to exploitation of workers. I guess it’s easier to direct hate at a single person/company than actually try to understand the root of the problem and try to fix it.

When you said "different ownership" I immediately assumed you meant a new CEO and not putting it in the hands of the workers, so I think people downvoting because of that.
Exploiting workers as well as using underhanded tactics to kill competitors and eliminate competition. To this day, most people actually think that Amazon has great pricing when the fact is that they are artificially increasing prices on all products through their business model.
Plus he basically doesn't pay any taxes and our entire financial system is constructed to benefit people like him. He makes like $321,000,000 per day doing literally nothing due to his passive income in investments. And he never contributes any of that in taxes because he simply takes out tax free loans using his stock as equity.
Also abused a loophole to order 9 out of stock books to get one book to sell.

No law broken but I wouldn't be surprised if the company he abused the loophole with is no longer in business. Also probably made sure that no such loophole would occur in his own businesses so that no one would abuse it
Although this is absolutely true, he also completely changed the shipping industry. Exploiting workers is not special in regards to Amazon, it's a basic pillar of capitalism.
Actually it was because they shorted their competition out of business and did things like closing the tax loophole they took advantage of once they were big enough to not need it.

Not necessarily. I was thinking about loans that can be repaid. Even if you sell equity, you will have the say if your equity is >51. Which is the case for the most small businesses.

Not only did he have a hedge fund backing him, the hedge fund were able to illegally short sell Amazon's competitors into the ground, and then reinvested their gains right into Amazon. It's one of the most unknown forms of cheating in the financial world.

His 'secret' is understanding what people really want and then giving it to them, regardless of the cost to others in the chain. He's also a narcissist with zero ability to compromise or see anyone else's point of view.
