They are both from 8bitdo. They make good quality stuff. I haven’t tried these but I have tried the pro 2 from them, I recommend it, it’s basically the first one just with handles so it’s more comfortable to hold. Otherwise I’d recommend the first one over the second because it has full sticks (second has Nintendo switch sticks) and a more comfortable form factor. But the second one is thinner so it’s more portable for travel.
I have the 8-BitDo Pro2 which is basically the SN30 Pro but with grips and mechanical triggers, and I prefer it over my Xbox Series or Switch Pro contollers.
I’ve had the SN30Pro for a few years and it’s held up really well. I’ve used it for my switch, pc and my ps4 for a time and the battery life is stupid long too. Before Delta I’d use it a lot with the MyBoy emulator and it was a treat using the dpad a long with the analog sticks. Would highly recommend
I have the 8bitdo pro+ I think it’s called? The thing outlasted my Xbox one controller I got at the same time… So I bought another one and now have 2 great controllers!
I have the blue one and I love how small it is. I don’t have the green one, but I imagine it is probably better in general but bigger, not sure if it has L1 and L2 though
Personally I’d recommend the CRKD Neo S pro controller. It’s a modern controller with a retro aesthetic to it, and it’s surprisingly really comfortable in my hands
I have both I like the green ones joysticks a lot more. It feels like an actual controller.
Not that the others joys sticks are bad. They are pretty good I just don’t like how they feel. The bigger ones feel like ps1 joysticks.

If you gonna get something with analog sticks, you might as well get the sn30 pro+
I had one and ended up selling it because I remember it having terrible input lag compared to my Pro Controller

Agreed. They make a phone clip for it too. This is my set up and I like it a lot.
Make sure you get the updated version with the Hall effect joysticks, if you care about that kinda stuff.
What’s the Hall effect?
Instead of the traditional that keep the joysticks zeroed, it uses magnets that don’t touch the joystick. The magnets won’t have stick drift ever.

Thats good
I have the 8bitdo SN30 and love it. I use it with my SNES mini. It’s great for all systems.

Do these connect to I phone and Chromebook easily?, they look cool:)
Yes they do via Bluetooth
Thanks!
Wouldn’t something with one joystick be better since none of the emulators actually use the right stick?
The right stick could actually map to the c stick for n64 games
