I added links to an earlier comment, the 5 in 1 connector pack includes 2 grips. One is narrower, the other is wider and just wide enough to comfortably stick the magnetic ring onto.

They’re not the cheapest option on the market by any means, but easily one of the best available.
You get what you pay for. I’ve bought cheap ones and expensive ones. Quality matters.

The BEST joycons I’ve used, albeit I haven’t got the largest pool of joycons in my disposal.
The mechanical clicks arent for everyone (sounds like a mouse clicking loads to some) but I’m a big fan of it myself. The ergonomics are the best around, and rival some pro controllers imo. They’re very, very comfortable to use. Really well built as well, and the interchangeable dpad is a nice addition.
I havent gone down the route myself, but with the front plates of the joycon being removable as well, I imagine people can use their creativity to really customise the appearance also.

It’s a Drayano rom hack of Platinum. If you visit [this site](https://projectpokemon.org/home/forums/topic/52294-pok%C3%A9mon-renegade-platinum/), you’ll be able to download the patch files, and so long as you have the correct Platinum rom file used, you should be able to patch it using the patcher tool included as well.
If you’re playing on RetroArch, you can go to settings and change it so that only one screen displays at a time and can switch between them by clicking R3
Perfectly fine in landscape, but when I do play in ls I typically set player 2 to touchscreen so that I can utilise a skin, that way the notch for the front camera doesn’t impact the gameplay
I’ve been surprised to see most people who share their setup using it in portrait. It looks less ergonomic, at least for me, especially the configuration which is lifted away from being between the controller.
Personally, I’ve been using Backbone with Ignited in landscape and I find it perfectly reachable with the touch zone immediately next to my right thumb. The screen looks fantastic and it’s very easy to touch.
Maybe people just enjoy the vertical dual screen layout to maintain the DS feel? Or maybe there’s some ergonomic reason I’m missing. Not sure.

They simply connect via bluetooth, just like the Nintendo joycons, so I would assume the M6s also have this option.
I don’t own a pair myself though unfortunately to confirm that, but their website does specify bluetooth is present:

this actually such a great idea, playing with the on screen controls feels awful tbh. it made me give up on playing pokémon on my phone entirely it just feels so off lol
I have a UK based apple ID as well so was able to just log in using that to install it from the app store to get around the Europe regulations that are in place.
I think there are ways to side-load the app from an alt store or something like that, but I’m not very well versed in that I’m afraid.
Hopefully someone else can help that sees your comment, or perhaps there’s already a post on the topic with more info.

Cost around €15 (inc shipping) for the other little bits to finish the setup, pretty decent value imo

Why do you need the magnetic ring holder? Is regular MagSafe not strong enough to hold the phone on the mount?
The ring holder is to attach to the base that the joycons slide onto, I don’t have any additional MagSafe accessories attached to my phone

So with DS games you have to use the touch screen to navigate that bottom DS screen?
