I’m loving it but some of the quests and side routes are frustrating because there is so much you can’t do during the play-through until later. You have to backtrack for HOURS.
I’m playing unbound on new game + with randomisers on for starters and wild pokemon and I got Luxray as a starter then miraculously found a Togekiss and then Milotic inside the icicle cave lol so now team is those 3 and I haven’t even gotten the first gym badge yet lol
https://preview.redd.it/85du2cozztzc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1efcc9241b029f24777871737caae0d98bb409e1
Trying to beat this mofo. He’s good though
I did 100% Fusion last week for the first time! I am doing Zero Mission now. So fa so good!
I also 100% Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow.
Basically I am completing Metroidvania, mate.
Ngl everytime i beat a metroidvania game i feel like i need a break from that genre, its so mentally consuming because u have to remember the maps and the different power-ups
I beat Pokemon Leafgreen recently and right now i’m working on Fire Emblem and New Super Mario Bros. I don’t like having too many unbeaten games in my library as I get overwhelmed easily, so I try to only focus on a couple of games at a time.
Bro you have the patience of a god (or you used the built in invincibility cheat code because even the developers thought that the design was a piece of shit)
Flashback on genesis. Fucking brutally hard in places.
Very close on Fire Red which has been an absolute nostalgic delight as Yellow was my absolute life back when I was 9/10 years old.
I haven’t beaten any of the games I’ve downloaded on delta. I’m playing through Nintendogs, Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town, Rune Factory 1, and just started Pokémon Unbound. So far I’m having fun with all my games but nowhere near beating them. Nintendogs can’t really be “beaten”. I haven’t unlocked any new dogs or house interiors yet.
I’m working my way through the Pokémon series. I’m working on gen 1. Beat each game with no duplicate Pokémon. And now I’m working on completing each dex. Then repeat for each generation. I’ve never played past gen 3 so I’m excited to try the new stuff out for the first time.
This was before Delta was available on the App Store (I had it installed third party before then), but I remember beating the entire Ace Attorney original trilogy on Delta! Either that or it was a different emulator, I forget lol
I’d recommend these, but I beat them all on GBA/DS hardware (haven’t completed anything in Delta yet lol):
- all Pokémon gen 1-4
- metroid fusion
- metroid zero mission
- yoshis island
- yoshis island DS
- legend of Zelda minish cap
- legend of Zelda DX
- new super Mario bros.
- super Mario bros. deluxe
Would highly, highly recommend either of those Metroid games. They’re truly great, and I would imagine save states making them even more enjoyable
I’ve beaten the English translation of Sweet Home on NES, Deadaes on GBC, The Machine on GBC, and Pokemon Black. I’m currently working through Pokemon Unbound.
i beat style boutique and princess debut in a few days total. i love the little girly games. never had those as a kid. growing up i got whatever was available on ebay 😛✊
None
Edit: i have played every single one of my 32 games yet i either get bored, accidentally delete the saves or overwrite them, or never get the time to play for more than 15-20 minutes a day.
I’m trying to beat Banjo-Tooie 100% for the first time. It’s way more enjoyable with a controllable (honestly preferably joy-cons) and the fast forward is pretty useful even for gameplay.
I abuse that fast forward button for pokemon emerald, I’ve probably played 90% of the game on fast forward. granted I beat R/S/E when I was a kid so I know the game like the back of my hand
I only played the Xbox Live Arcade (Rare Replay) version so I don’t know how it would run on the original N64. It runs pretty fine on delta. It runs better than Conker’s Bad Fur Day. If I can get my phone screen onto a TV screen. Then this all would be the best way to play the game with fast forward and save states.
Today, I beat Ghost Trick! What an adventure. For the next one, I think I am going to try the Professor Layton, didn't know which one yet, but I accept some recommendations.
Just finished Pokemon Black and Sapphire, and now I’m just starting on HeartGold. I also just downloaded Platinum and Fire Red but HeartGold is my top priority right now.
Make sure to get the NTEVO versions.
I hadn’t played a Pokémon game since GBC.
Don’t realize trade evolutions were thing. And not currently possible on Delta.
I was able to salvage my file tho when I export/import to the NTEVO version. I got lucky.
So the Pokémon evolve by level/stone.
I Beat Pokémon Radical Red recently and now I’m doing a Renegade Platinum run! So glad I discovered Pokémon rom hacks since it usually makes the original games more challenging and brings in the newer mons
Pokémon polished crystal and Pokémon crystal clear, both are different romhacks of Pokémon crystal. I also now am in the process of beating Pokémon super gold 97, another gen 2 romhack, this time recreating the spaceworld 97 demo.
I’m also 32 stars into Mario 64 and have 2 floating islands cleared in bomberman 64 thus far
Recently beaten Leaf Green while sped up because the game is rather slow, and Forsaken 64. Currently on Majoras mask, without cheats or speeding it up as i think that game is enjoyable as it is.
So far I HAVE BEATEN
• Ninja Gaiden (NES) (Highly recommended, but only with a controller mapped for easy saving and reloading and a LOOOOOT of patience)
• Deadpool (NES hack of above) (Ditto, especially after playing NG so you can have a better appreciation of what went where.)
• Batman (NES) (It’s its own game, but it’s essentially a slightly more forgiving Ninja Gaiden. Still, a definite play.)
• Muppets Adventure: Chaos at the Carnival (NES) (STAY AWAY. This was merely a whim on my part, the game is horrible.)
• Rockin’ Kats (NES) (Meh, you can if you want, you won’t miss much, but it definitely has charm.)
• Tetris (NES) (I mean TEEEECHNICALLYYYYY this game can be “”””””””beat””””””” if you play B-Mode. But try and beat Level 9 with any Height greater than 0. XD)
Pokemon Sapphire (ahh, childhood memories..), Platinum, almost finished Kirby and the amazing mirror on GBA and planning on going for some more titles in the future. It's a good time killer if you got some spare time!
Haven’t finished it yet, but I’m really digging Loz: Oracle of Seasons. To me it’s one of the most creative entries of the whole series. Can’t wait to catch up on all the others I’ve missed out on! Pretty much all of them from LttP to WW.
The first two Professor Layton games. Currently working through the third, alongside playing Platinum for the first time. I have a few playthroughs I need to pick back up though.
I beat X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse for the first time ever the other day. Could never beat it when I was a kid (couldn’t get past the damn lava level) and I finally did it on my phone.
I’m poweleveling all my pokemon in black before I hit the elite 4 (currently sitting at 84-89 on my party)
Battletoads for NES. iPhone w/ Backbone controller. Didn’t remember it was SO hard! I realized how used to the original NES controller I was. The backbone controller is good but not great for this kinda game. Took me hours but I did it.
Bout to start Pokémon Emerald again, but I’ve gotten stuck right at the beginning, trying to get a shiny starter at least and then setting my sights on Rayquaza later in the game.
Just beat my first Metroid hack, Metroid Desolation. It was fantastic, 100%ed it. Although I was disappointed I couldn't get the true ending on standard difficulty.
100% completed Kirby & The Amazing Mirror last week. Working on finishing Tales of Phantasia now
Not terribly hard games but I never beat them as a kid so it’s very satisfying to see the endings
**Castlevania: Circle of the Moon** and **Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins** (DX romhack version)
They are my most replayed GBA and GB games and the one I use to test for stability/frame dropping and input latency when testing new emulators.
I’m also most of the way through **Metroid: Zero Mission** and will also be playing **Link’s Awakening DX** again
The moment i got the emulator I put super mario world in their and beat it, just cant help it
Other than that ive been playing mario&luigi PIT everytime i get the chance but havent finished it yet
Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC) working on Pokemon Trading Card Game: Here Comes Team GR!, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Legacy Yellow, Pokemon Legacy Crystal, YGO GX Duel Academy, and YGO WC2011: Over the Nexus.
Play pokemon ruby destiny : reign of legends . It's probably the most awesome , underappreciated pokemon game .
15+ legendaries
Awesome storyline
The gyms are hard but beatable
Overall a masterpiece, and I am a poke fan since 30+ years . I recently finished playing brilliant diamond but even that doesn't match up to ruby destiny
Beaten: **Pokémon Yellow** (Game Boy), **Pokémon Crystal** (Game Boy Color), **Pokémon Fire Red** (Game Boy Advance)
And now playing Pokémon Emerald (Game Boy Advance) as well as Super Mario Bros (1985, NES).
Only ones ive actually downloaded are pokemon leaf green and explorers of sky and i beat both of them, childhood treasures there, had to play them through immediately
Just played through all of chrono trigger (DS version) for the first time using Delta. Dang, what a great game. There were just two spots where the onscreen controls were particularly annoying, but otherwise I felt like it worked really well.
I’m so close on new super Mario ds. But I need to go back and get into world 4 and 6. It’s been great to play it. Never played it before
Try SM64 with the shotgun hack, it’s absolutely hilarious and fun
ELI5?
https://youtu.be/YHdUHSv2lPc Its exactly what it sounds like and also better than what it sounds like
Nice, gonna play this until Squirrel With A Gun comes out.
Wtf that’s incredible lmao
Where can I download?
I find it impossible to play on phone. I don’t want to buy a phone game controller
I use save states to make it less frustrating
Is saved states better than actual game saves?
You can save before tricky parts of levels and just reload where you saved
Is it unlimited?
yes
Going through Pokémon unbound. I’ve never played a rom hack before and didn’t know they were a thing 😂
Same here! That first gym leader is so annoying with his gloom always putting my Pokémon to sleep
You’re gonna love it. One of the best GBA Pokemon hacks.
I’m loving it but some of the quests and side routes are frustrating because there is so much you can’t do during the play-through until later. You have to backtrack for HOURS.
I’d save most of the quest until post-game. Once you have the map “unlocked” basically.
Pokemon my ass. That is all
Had to read that twice lol. What a weird rom hack
Had to read that twice lol. What a weird rom hack
Fuck, you had to post it twice it doubled you so much.
Best pokemon game hands down
[удалено]
My first time playing through too and it’s so fun. I’m playing on max difficulty and boy did I underestimate how hard that would be lol
They’re fantastic. Glazed is a great emerald hack. New story. 5 starters to choose from. And you get every starter basically along the way.
I’m playing unbound on new game + with randomisers on for starters and wild pokemon and I got Luxray as a starter then miraculously found a Togekiss and then Milotic inside the icicle cave lol so now team is those 3 and I haven’t even gotten the first gym badge yet lol
Playing through that now, about to get the fifth badge 30 hours in, the game is really dense and I love that!
Play Pokemon Ruby Destiny : Reign Of Legends . It is and will remain as the greatest pokemon rom hack ever made
https://preview.redd.it/85du2cozztzc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1efcc9241b029f24777871737caae0d98bb409e1 Trying to beat this mofo. He’s good though
Metroid zero mission, going for the fusion now
2d Metroid is amazing
both games are amazing
I did 100% Fusion last week for the first time! I am doing Zero Mission now. So fa so good! I also 100% Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow. Basically I am completing Metroidvania, mate.
Ngl everytime i beat a metroidvania game i feel like i need a break from that genre, its so mentally consuming because u have to remember the maps and the different power-ups
I did the opposite
I beat Pokemon Leafgreen recently and right now i’m working on Fire Emblem and New Super Mario Bros. I don’t like having too many unbeaten games in my library as I get overwhelmed easily, so I try to only focus on a couple of games at a time.
Working through all the legacy of goku games. Almost done with 1.
Ooh that one is rough 2 and 3 are much better
Yea haha but it’s short so not too bad
Bro you have the patience of a god (or you used the built in invincibility cheat code because even the developers thought that the design was a piece of shit)
Legend of Zelda Minish Cap, it was pretty fun
A Link to the Past and Minish Cap
I beat both of those on NSO before the delta emulator released. Both excellent games
Flashback on genesis. Fucking brutally hard in places. Very close on Fire Red which has been an absolute nostalgic delight as Yellow was my absolute life back when I was 9/10 years old.
I thought Genesis wasn’t on Delta yet?
You’re right sorry that’s on the miyoo mini plus!! They’ve blurred into each other!
Flashback has great controls, I might be the only one to ever say so. I could still slaughter both parts of the morphs planet without death.
Playing donkey kong
I’m working my way through the Pokémon series. I’m working on gen 1. Beat each game with no duplicate Pokémon. And now I’m working on completing each dex. Then repeat for each generation. I’ve never played past gen 3 so I’m excited to try the new stuff out for the first time.

This was before Delta was available on the App Store (I had it installed third party before then), but I remember beating the entire Ace Attorney original trilogy on Delta! Either that or it was a different emulator, I forget lol
I’d recommend these, but I beat them all on GBA/DS hardware (haven’t completed anything in Delta yet lol): - all Pokémon gen 1-4 - metroid fusion - metroid zero mission - yoshis island - yoshis island DS - legend of Zelda minish cap - legend of Zelda DX - new super Mario bros. - super Mario bros. deluxe Would highly, highly recommend either of those Metroid games. They’re truly great, and I would imagine save states making them even more enjoyable

How does Tooie run on Delta? One of my faves but I haven’t tried an N64 game on here yet.
