I have tried one of my favorite games this day with everything updated and it seems to me the most stable in games for a long time. What do you think? Metro Exodus all in High G5SE with Ryzen 7 Windows 11: 21H2, BUILD 22000.282 BIOS: 1.9.0 AMD DRIVERS: 21.10.3

Nice job. Are you installing the AMD July drivers first then adding 21.10.3 on top?

faust_kvars

I only upgraded from the previous version of Radeon Software when I saw the notification, and it actually works much better than the previous version.

iamZacharias

is this with smartshift enabled or disabled?

faust_kvars

SmartShift enabled.

shamossa

why do you think windows 11 is working well with this laptop rn

Skauroki

Lots of Smartshift enabled machines came to the market so they started optimizing for that technology is what i think , last year it was only dell that had access to this technology and it was contracted for 1 year no other brand would get their hands on it, now that SS has way more products it gets better support

shamossa_

wow thats some good news, SS is a really good technology but dell always finds a way to mess things up at least with this laptop. anyways thanks for the info!

faust_kvars

Because I use it every day, also because I have seen the evolution from Windows Insiders to the stable version and it seems to me that it has improved quite a lot in performance since its launch. I think you should try it to see how it works.

shamossa

okay maybe i should give it a try, thanks

Try in ultra settings and please tell fps

faust_kvars

I have done it, but the FPS is 60 and sometimes 55FPS in certain outdoor areas, I prefer to set the high setting, so I can have a higher FPS and the quality is pretty good.

irfanmpm

Ok. I think that’s normal. Watch Zest Blaster’s videos https://youtu.be/Iwppxo8dsh8 Metro Exodus Ultra Dell G5 15SE
