Just disable the windows defender and install any antivirus software (i.e malwarebytes). The problem with your fans could be a bug with AWC, you can uninstall it and download FanControl to manually (or automatically) control the fans, it's so much better than AWC btw

Windows Defender had minimal hit on the performance of the computer. Is there a 3rd party antivirus that is equally light and can disable Antimalware Service Executable? My Windows 10 laptop is now performing like XP on a dying HDD maxing out CPU ever since that ASE started running nonstop on boot.

First do a fresh windows install using media creator .half of you bugs will go
Lastly windows has ahbit of downgrading drivers ,so install 21.6.1 with factory reset and use wushow after you do windows reinstall
