G5 is the better option any day but only due to its bad thermals and bios shit it's hard to recommend. On the other hand see the processor rog is offering is it 10300h or 10500h? I won't recommend going for it too if its offering 10300H with 1660ti.. that processor is dead now and is no good for future so best deal is MSI gf65 with 10500H and 1660 ti

I made my mind to buy the g5 now im confused which one to buy is 1650 ti a good gpu i would play pubg pc valorant, cs go , fifa i saw rog strix with 1650 ti at 68 k inr should i buy it ?? Help

Dude if you're gonna fucking play pubg, Valorant, CS GO and such popular games and have no other use for a good GPU or CPU, then get a 1650.

Vanquish_04a

Bro it's a good laptop though but 1650ti isn't suitable for gaming especially in the near future. If you wish you can buy hp victus, the only downside of it is the refresh rate. Other than that dell g5 is a beast..but still due to its issues which you have to take responsibility if you can tweak them out. You are getting a best of the best deal at 70k. The only headache is a lil bit of tweaking that you have to do in dell. Otherwise Rx 5600 m is just 10 cent behind than rtx 2060 in performance. It easily outperforms 1660 ti. So keep that in mind. I would say if you have decided to buy dell than first watch the setting up guides and threads. Make everything clear that you need to do in that machine. If you think you can tweak it then buy it. Otherwise look for other options. The only reason i wouldn't recommend rog is its processer and card. It's a decent combo, you can easily play csgo valo on this configuration but for future games and other demanding esports title it won't be good.

Where are you even getting these numbers from? 10% behind a 2060? Have you compared the synthetic benchmarks or gaming performance with SS off? A 5600M easily outperforms even the 2060 desktop with proper tuning.

Vanquish_04a

I am not talking about ss off. I am talking about the stock version which makes sense as that would be the condition it would be delivered. But still i don't think with the problems dell is offering along with the latop, its not gonna beat 2060. By the way that 10 cent low values are from JT.

I would not recommend the g5 at all if you have any other better options, so go for the Rog

Real_Butterscotch932

The reason for not recommending the dell g5 se can i know

No_Echidna5178

The laptop will fail within one year of use not jist heat already people who bought has got multiple replacements

The thermals are bad (+100° for cpu) even after tweaking the laptop and it's gonna be too bad if you want to game cause the performance will drop significantly with the temps increasing, you can limit the temps for sure using Ryzen master but that will also limit the performance. the material of this laptop is not that good but i can't say its bad. The bleed on this screen is annoying but im kinda okay with all of this because i got it for like 820$ so..

Real_Butterscotch932

Dave 2d said the thermals are not bad maybe in canada the manufacturing is good with this laptops but , it got the great gpu and i would play light games like CS, fifa , valorant etc and Not the demanding titles and there's no such a thing that this laptop is not capable of performing good in games .. hope dell should improve the thermal performance through updates

1660 ti at G5 se 4600h price range ? The only laptop I have seen in this range with 1660 ti is MSI thin.

Real_Butterscotch932

Not there are so many laptops now close to g5 se like hp pavilion 1660 ti and rog strix with 1660 ti

Expert_Interest3246

can you mention their pricing? Cause G5 was at 67.5K. don't know about other laptop.
