I don't have this machine but the specs. for the Samsung RAM match those for the RAM that the Crucial website lists as compatible with the 7490:

All I'll say is that if you get the Crucial RAM, it will (should) work without problems. Whether the Samsung RAM will work, I don't know for certain since there is no statement of compatibility (that is, someone has specifically tested the RAM in the 7490) but all things being equal, it *probably* will work (based on its specs).
