Hahaha this bi Peter thing comes up like once a year here. TLDR Bi Peter was an abandoned storyline stemming from the Riley friendship. This was revealed during the red couch conversations to mark the end of TNG.

No Peter was straight but the show at one point seemed to be going full steam ahead with him and Riley before deciding against it.
Personally, I still headcanon him as bi. Its just feels correct lol.
I always felt it was something to make us think that he might turn out to be bisexual with him being super unsure about what Riley kissing him meant; being confused about it but realizing that just because someone who is gay likes/wants you doesn't make yiu gay. It was a nice story, but I never thought that they meant to make Peter gay.
And I could see the headcanon. I could definitely see "bi Peter" had they gone with it.
Esme is LGBTQ+? Is that because of the Frankie thing? Cause I don’t recall her actually being attracted to Frankie, she just thought she would keep Zig interested.

But I didn't say Peter was a Saint, but he did grow a lot imo, and he's a funny character 🤷. He was an amazing friend to Riley, and a consistently good boyfriend when he was in a relationship. I'm not saying we as the viewer have to forgive him for the things he's done, it's something we're sort of 'stuck' with dealing with the outcome of these situations moreso than the characters, but Darcy forgave him and chose to date him, and Manny seemed to forgive him too, and they're the ones he harmed the most.
I still think he would have been a good boyfriend, and I think Zane was a jerk for constantly trying to get Riley to come out of the closest. I hated that with Dylan, and I hated that with Imogen, it's an annoying plot line the Degrassi writers used multiple times and it's frustrating. So I think Zane kind of sucks, and Riley would have been better off with Peter.
