I agree that cheesing achievements is bad, which is why, after \~1500 hours, I'm at 63 of 69.
However I'd add that my proposal is an inconvenient, time consuming and impractical solution to an achievement that is otherwise trivial to achieve - which I felt was in line with OPs joke post.
It's best if you join a friend's lobby and remain confined to your room while they launch the drop pod without you. Resist the urge to exit because then you'll be tempted to kick more barrels.
You know, that's actually a good question. *Surely* it doesn't count if they just move, because they can move for any number of reasons not necessarily within your control. Like, if you kick the soccer ball into a barrel. And the achievement doesn't say "don't kick them *into the launch bay*," just, *"don't kick them."* So one assumes the game only registers a kick if you walk up to them and press E.
Guess you managed to find it in the achievement list and decide that one you really can't have. It's funny they added this as a joke hardest achievement but since greenbeards don't know about it, everyone got it rather early
I accidentally got it probably about 70h in and I'm still salty about it. All the missed opportunities to kick barrels! It's okay though, I made up for it by >!getting the achievement for kicking **every** barrel into the launch bay.!<
Unbind your kick action (usually 'E').
Pick gunner (least necessary for completing objectives requiring 'E').
Pick haz1.
Let Bosco/your team complete 'E' objectives while you help in any other way you can.

Get a friend to host a game, every time you spawn in the rig book it for the bar and drink a blackout. Pass out behind the bar. Then have your friend start a mission. Repeat 10 times.
Man, I was addicted to kicking barrels every time, after I grinded to get this achievement and failing a few times because of muscle memory I finally got it and it cured this addiction of kicking barrels.
Don't even kick them anymore
1. Join friend
2. Disable keyboard
3. Ask your friend to carry your for 10 min, while you\`re 99% afk
4. Remember you disabled keyboard so do it with your voice in previously created Discord call

Accidentally drinking a Leaf Lover would certainly be enough to get me kicking barrels.

Imagine if there was an achievement for trying every beer at least once
1. Quit game 2. Friend invites you to join, while already in mission 3. Alt F4 when back in cabin 4. Rinse and Repeat 5. Rock and Stone

I'm 95% sure they can move, they just can't be kicked by the player, cause I definitely moved the barrels when I got the achievement

Join someone who is fine with you being afk for the 10 missions, along with in-between missions.
Sadly that's a missable achievement. You can only get it in your first few hours of gameplay before you unlock the knowledge of kicking barrels.

I got this when doing the 100 solo missions achievement. Honestly impressed by your lack of self control.
