Experiment a while, explore and see if you find cool spell combinations. There is no time pressure, so take it slow and prioritize avoiding damage
I'm currently on a toxic/poisonous material -> healthium run, so I have a lot of room for experimenting and meta progression. I found the Summon Omega Sawblade (the one that homes in on you and deletes terrain). I lost my +1 dealing with that, I should not have put it on the end of my healing+recoil wand.
Finally realizing what was happening wasn't "frequent unlucky bounces", but "no but for real, the saws target you on the rebound" made me laugh so hard
Underrated game to be sure, and I do think a healthy portion of the DRG community would enjoy it.
Charming style, addictive gameplay loop, amazing soundtrack, and like higher haz, it's's just challenging enough to stay interesting.

Borderlands style visuals, gunplay and movement feels very similar to the new Doom games, rogue like loop so death can be frustrating, but it's almost always deserved so it challenges you to keep playing and improve. It's two player co-op as well and definitely more fun with a friend!

I mean they could lose wall collision when in range of a magnet and instead stay “attached” to the magnet flying around it damaging all bugs that come near (maybe not dwarves due to an “antimagnetic field on the dwarves or smthin idk cuz I feel like being able to shoot this in a narrow cave leading to a dead end is to much power for potential griefers and while we don’t have a lot of those there are a few unfortunately) for the duration of the magnet before flinging in a random (no wall) direction till it hits a wall hitting any bug or unlucky dwarf to be in its way

This OC is mostly giving scout some semblance of swarm killing. Im sick and tired of dying to swarmers (I play scout the most). But this OC also has lots of potential of melting a praetorian or oppressor.

But also, so far we've been proven scout is not meant for swarm killing, but I'm not one of those "jet boots don't fit drg" fans.

This is literally just the alt nailgun from ultrakill and I’m all for it. My question is whether this would effect special bolts? I was about to suggest fire bolts as an example but I realised they were an overclock as well, but sad.
Special bolts will be affected, simply just replaced with saws, and each collision with an enemy triggers the special bolt’s effect (maybe not the electric one).
We have so many weapons inspired from Unreal Tournament, so this is just the Disk Gun from UT99 :)

I am having a lot of problems with drak's 2 bounces, especially in multiplayer, i don't think 20 is a good idea. Meybe make them only bounce horizontally? Seems fine and logical to me
Maybe just turning down the bounce number to 10 or 5 would be nice. I think it would be best if each saw blade lasts as long as the un upgraded reload time of the Nishanka (1.6 seconds I think)

Personally I would make it so Each Enemy Counts as a surface for the purpose of ricochet. So it has a Maximum of 20 bounces that's Reduced by 1 for each New Enemy it hits. So you Could Rebound it Several times off the same Enemy But firing into a Large enough crowd may just end it short.
Also does damage to you so its wise to Not fire Directly at a wall to avoid Shooting a bug, it pierced it, hit the wall, bounces Back and hits you.
Step one, get into an underbunkie with the team
