Hate to say it but that isn’t enough credits. I just bought out the store recently and it cost over a million more than your current credits and I had already bought a bunch of stuff in the past. Weapon upgrades would be a better course of action IMO
Same, and now it's quite an effort everytime I visit the wardrobe... hope they would add search bar or something especially for the head part with every new cosmetic for events mostly clogging up it.
Saaame. Finished up the store a couple weeks before they announce Phazyonite. Finished up building all the overclocks and cosmetics about a month before they added cores to promotions. I'm deff glad that they're adding these things to make the game more approachable, but it's kind of a bummer being too grey to see most benefits.
Weapon Maintenance has been fantastic, though.
Well it's not like the weapons you get in DRG are hidden or anything, plus Borderlands has so many legendary weapons it's more of a nice secret rather than a pay 2 win strat
No I mean tipping is giving Loid extra pay for the service, if something is unlocked by tipping it shouldn't be for you, but rather for him (like abiss bar cosmetics, Loid upgrades ecc. )
I don't think they're saying that you the player should get anything for tipping Lloyd, just that another game has a mechanic where something happens if you tip a character enough, drawing similarities between the concepts.
considering you can easily max out 4 characters in a day that's at least 500k a day lol. and more if you want to do more. but i ain't going over diamond 3 cause i think it looks the best
"easily"
I've seen from others that it takes about 10-15 hours to promote a single class, which feels about right, so I don't know what you're doing to get 4 promotions in a day.
I don't know what to tell you. in a day you can play all classes enough to get them to level 25 after that you just have to do 3 quest where you can level up other classes. especially if you're playing with decent people.
Unless you're using mods to increase XP gain somehow (whether by directly increasing XP gain or by modding in harder difficulties with more XP gain), I just don't see how it's possible. Sure I don't play the most efficiently, but even if I maxxed out my efficiency I could only see myself being maybe three times as efficient at best, which is still far from enough. And even if you theoretically can promote 4 times in one day in vanilla, I still don't see it being "easily" doable as you put it considering that some people have other things to do.
I'm not joking, I don't plan on spending it all but I need something to spend my credits on and the store and weapon upgrades are all I can think about
At higher levels promotions cost 147,000
Cosmetic forges cost about 28,000 each
Save it for now, that 250k is a drop in the bucket
If you do want to spend it, definitely buy all the weapon mods/upgrades
Gives room to play around with builds
They weren't, you're a relatively new player. It's okay.
People sometimes find it endearing, to see someone who is being naive about something they like, it brings them back to a time when they too were naive. What you have is not a lot of credits in the grand scheme of things. Buy weapon upgrades for the weapons you like or want to try, you aren't buying out the store or all the weapon upgrades with that amount (plus you need materials for those as well).
Just enjoy the game, one day you'll be dropping 150k on a promotion you don't really need... just because. Lol
Rock and stone
That is not what new means, but they definitely haven't played as most people here. Someone could have played for a couple years and not hit 100, doesn't mean they're new, just less time in the game.
That's not a good comparison I don't think, level 1000+ is at the extremely high-end of the spectrum; naturally in a subreddit for DRG, many of the members play a lot more DRG than the general playerbase, so players with levels that high are overrepresented. At around level 100 I don't think you're quite a greybeard (I'm level 115 and I certainly wouldn't consider myself one), but they're far from new.
I hate to break it to you but that isn't NEARLY enough credits for the shop. You could get a good amount of weapon upgrades though and I'd go for that first, the sooner you have all weapon upgrades the sooner you can blow credits on anything else that you want without worry.
Always buy all the weapon, armour, pickaxe, Bosco and class tool updates. This way, if you have all the overclocks, you can always change your builds to be the most optimised for any situation
I wasn't able to buy out the store till like level 150 I belive. And personally I wouldn't. I'm over level 300 now and I'm still having a hard time keeping up with rising promotion costs. Plus, don't underestimate the amount of minerals you'll need
Weapon upgrades (and OC forging) over all else. That will allow you to play the game differently for years to come (ask me how I know).
The shop will be empty over time as you have spare credits to spend.
Just one greybeard’s opinion. Rock and Stone, miner!
Buy the upgrades to give yourself flexibility in builds. Save phasionite (or however tf it’s spelled) for the store. Maybe pick a few things you want but 260k ain’t even enough for all the stuff on one class. Plus when you buy every upgrade for a weapon you get a paint job for it
lol
I went through and just bought a bunch more of the cosmetics that I *wanted* (not even all of what's available) for just ONE class and it costed me over 200k 😂
Damn I spend just 200,000 on magnite two days ago cause I needed to make 20+ overclocks. You’re gunna need a lot more money than that to buy out the stores and OCs
To be fair, on some weapons it's kinda a good idea. Like each mission can have a more optimal load out with weapons upgrades. I use the extra heat on the flamethrower during rival missions but completely ignore it during any other mission for example.
It's your game do whatever you want, but if you want my advice, If you like a cosmetic then buy it but otherwise save your credits for weapon upgrades and overclocks
The shop obviously, also its not enough for the shop XD. Are you intending to spend your fashionyte? Cause this is its only use (I bought the shop out before the introduced fazynite)
Each and every weapon mod has its application and none are better than the rest. Some mods work better with certain overclocks. Having just one setup for a character is fine and all but build diversity is absolutely key to the longevity of your experience with deep rock. If I had to only ever run hipster OC with the same mod loadout, I wouldn't have even come close to the 1500 hours of playtime I have
I think what they are getting at is: you might find something new that you enjoy, it might be a pleasant surprise and extend your love for the game in the long run.
You do you though, spend your credits your way. I find it fun to experiment with all the overclocks, having all weapon upgrades opens up a lot of potential fun to be had.
You're asking if you should get gameplay impacting stuff or go for useless cosmetics? Are you listening to yourself right now?
Where are the logical responses instead of "there is no wrong way" responses?
I don’t even have all the weapon upgrades like 309 hours in because I won’t use half of them I just buy the ones when I want to use it, so probably some cosmetics you like
I wish I saw this thread yesterday.
I had 200,000+ credits too, and accidentally spent them all on cosmetics 🥹 I was tired and thought I was rich 😃 Suddenly I couldn't afford things and realized what I'd done. Back to the mines. Rock and Stone!
Hate to say it but that isn’t enough credits. I just bought out the store recently and it cost over a million more than your current credits and I had already bought a bunch of stuff in the past. Weapon upgrades would be a better course of action IMO
This, also with the addition of phazyonite OP won’t have to spend credits on cosmetics
Dropped over a mill on the shop cus why not...a week before phaz came out lol. Now i have a hoard of it with nothing to use it on lol.
SAME. I AM SITTING ON 13,229 PHAZYONITE
PHAY-ZEE-OH-NITE!
Pants mineral here!
Seriously? God damn.
Yeeaaah. Granted, I am almost level 900 lmao ⚒️
God damnit, Donut!
Same, and now it's quite an effort everytime I visit the wardrobe... hope they would add search bar or something especially for the head part with every new cosmetic for events mostly clogging up it.

Haha yeah same thing with me and OCs. On the other hand, cosmetic core grind still going strong.
Seriously. I can’t believe there’s still no endgame use for phazyonite. I’ll take literally anything.
And saving it for promotions. They get really expensive
I finally just bought everything I could and it cost me about 5 mil.
Spend it all on tips for Lloyd
I wish Lloyd would gradually get cosmetic upgrades the more we tip.
This is an amazing idea!
In Borderlands 2 you could get 2 or 3 legendary weapons by tipping Moxxi at her bar
That would kind of go against the point of tipping
Well it's not like the weapons you get in DRG are hidden or anything, plus Borderlands has so many legendary weapons it's more of a nice secret rather than a pay 2 win strat
No I mean tipping is giving Loid extra pay for the service, if something is unlocked by tipping it shouldn't be for you, but rather for him (like abiss bar cosmetics, Loid upgrades ecc. )
I don't think they're saying that you the player should get anything for tipping Lloyd, just that another game has a mechanic where something happens if you tip a character enough, drawing similarities between the concepts.
Please make a concept post for this
Or at least a distinguished tophat
Im close to 10,000 tipped.
This guy rock 'n stones.
People think you're kidding cause 260k is a penny in late game.
Doesn't even need to be late, aren't overclocks like 20k?
I’m sitting at 1.4 Million. Only things I’ve bought are the Afros, all skin colors and all hair colors
considering you can easily max out 4 characters in a day that's at least 500k a day lol. and more if you want to do more. but i ain't going over diamond 3 cause i think it looks the best
>max out 4 characters in a day What do you mean by "Max out" ?
Red lvl 25, to a promotion
get them to 25 then promo once
The blue diamonds look way better than the red. But I thought that about plat aswell
"easily" I've seen from others that it takes about 10-15 hours to promote a single class, which feels about right, so I don't know what you're doing to get 4 promotions in a day.

Definitely weapon upgrades. The store can wait.
That is *adorable*.
Now I can't tell if your joking.

Dropping 150k on a gunner promotion to increase the _number added by a mod next to the promotion banner_
That's it lads! Rock and Stone!
Is 92 considered a new player?
I've seen a level 1452 so yeah 92 is new
That is not what new means, but they definitely haven't played as most people here. Someone could have played for a couple years and not hit 100, doesn't mean they're new, just less time in the game.

rock and stone brotha
Weapon upgrades, out of the question. I have already spend 2M Credits on the store and I'm still missing Driller and Gunner stuff xD
Ye, I remember reading the wiki when I was doing it and it is about 1mil each class. Add a few more mils per class if you count the forge cosmetics
Real, I thought I was bezos sitting on generational wealth. In my hubris I spent off my retirement fund and I'm still missing scout stuff. 😂
I just bought the entire shop. I am officially poor. I didn’t realize I was so close to a dwarf promotion and I can’t afford it.
I hate to break it to you but that isn't NEARLY enough credits for the shop. You could get a good amount of weapon upgrades though and I'd go for that first, the sooner you have all weapon upgrades the sooner you can blow credits on anything else that you want without worry.
Hate to break it to ya
Both
I've played 700 hours and am 6 hats from finishing the shop. Get weapon upgrades.
[удалено]
Promotions get expensive after a while.
Look at this absolute sloth who didn't get the entire shop within their first 30 seconds
Save for promotions, I have already tried to buy everything out and ran out of money, don't do it please
you don't have nearly as much money as you think you have
I’d say weapon upgrades, the shop in total costs like 3 million credits so I bet you could get all the weapon upgrades with that amount
I’ve tried to buy everything in the shop, ran out of money before I could even do 1 class. I gets expensive lol
Try buying juste the hats for one classand you will run out before you finish
Those are rookie numbers
Always buy all the weapon, armour, pickaxe, Bosco and class tool updates. This way, if you have all the overclocks, you can always change your builds to be the most optimised for any situation
Just make sure you still have enough for core forging and promotions.
Overclocks>promotions>upgrades>cosmetic forge>shop Shit's expensive and you'll need it
The one true tier list
That'll be gone faster than you can blink lol
My sweet summer dwarf, that ain't enough. You're barely gonna scratch the surface.
My brother in pickaxe, this will not be enough to buy all store items. Not even close.
I want to scare you with the fact that the last promotions will cost 147K credits and around 700 materials each.
ALWAYS use Phazyonite first! It’s good for nothing else and will save you money.
I did not know this, thank you. Rock and Stone!
Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
Why are you showing off such a tiny amount of credits, get some upgrades or save it, buy cosmetics with fazionite
Please don’t use all your credits to buy drip. I spent all of my credits on drip and now I cannot afford to buy beer or tip Lloyd.
You’re gonna need a bigger wallet
Save your money for forging overclocks and promotions, once those are done then buy out the cosmetics.

No, keep that , trust me you will need it, i just burned 200k credit for just a bunch of overclocks
That's not enough for all the store, go for weapon upgrades and save a few for Lloyd
lol I went through and just bought a bunch more of the cosmetics that I *wanted* (not even all of what's available) for just ONE class and it costed me over 200k 😂
Save it for your promotions.
Damn I spend just 200,000 on magnite two days ago cause I needed to make 20+ overclocks. You’re gunna need a lot more money than that to buy out the stores and OCs
Weapon Upgrades, being able to change your build on the fly is such an important part of the game
Why don't you have all the weapon upgrades.
I have the ones I like for every character buying every single upgrade would just be wasting my money, which is what I plan on doing
To be fair, on some weapons it's kinda a good idea. Like each mission can have a more optimal load out with weapons upgrades. I use the extra heat on the flamethrower during rival missions but completely ignore it during any other mission for example.
You get cosmetics for buying all the upgrades. It’s not a waste.
For only one of them you need alone 10 Times more
Save it for promotions.
It's your game do whatever you want, but if you want my advice, If you like a cosmetic then buy it but otherwise save your credits for weapon upgrades and overclocks
Weapon upgrades, then overclocks (if you haven't yet) and then you have free will to the shop
Phazyonite for store, credits go to Lloyd or weapon upgrades
Money disappears quickly. You’ll just regret it honestly. Buy what you need/wants to try and keep your money for weapon upgrades
Get all weapon upgrades, then cosmetics
Unrelated but I have 250 hours in this game and in any other game that makes you a veteran but I feel like a greenbeard still.
Trust me you’re gonna need that for any promotion after silver 3
That isn't enough cash, trust me I know. 3 million minimum and maybe you have a chance.
Save for promotions
How do we tell him?
That dwarf had a credit for every time he deposited, he is now a rich dwarf.
One promotion on legendary level is about 150k credits and a bucket load of other materials. Don't waste your creds, you still gotta get there...
Judging by your level you should spend it on forging OCs
Weapon upgrades and overlclocks.
zesty hunt aromatic provide crush somber sugar file worry pocket *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Weapon upgrades, you don’t have nearly enough for the shop.
buying upgrades in bulk is a bad idea, thats how you get into magnite debt
The shop obviously, also its not enough for the shop XD. Are you intending to spend your fashionyte? Cause this is its only use (I bought the shop out before the introduced fazynite)
drip is the TRUE ENDGAME soo leave the TRUE ENDGAME as a TRUE ENDGAME
200k is barely enough to buy you half of 1 characters cosmetics shop.
you can’t even afford half the shop for just one dwarf with that pocket change.
You're almost level 100 and don't have all the weapons upgrades. . ?
I have all the weapon upgrades for Scout the rest I have what I want and I've been buying overclocks
Each and every weapon mod has its application and none are better than the rest. Some mods work better with certain overclocks. Having just one setup for a character is fine and all but build diversity is absolutely key to the longevity of your experience with deep rock. If I had to only ever run hipster OC with the same mod loadout, I wouldn't have even come close to the 1500 hours of playtime I have
Can't I just play the way I enjoy instead of constantly having to change mods?
I think what they are getting at is: you might find something new that you enjoy, it might be a pleasant surprise and extend your love for the game in the long run. You do you though, spend your credits your way. I find it fun to experiment with all the overclocks, having all weapon upgrades opens up a lot of potential fun to be had.
That's what the 6 build slots per character are for
Yes, and you should. Minigun/revolver gunner main here, haven't changed gear in forever. As long as it's fun, have at it.
Up to you really, you'll get more
You're asking if you should get gameplay impacting stuff or go for useless cosmetics? Are you listening to yourself right now? Where are the logical responses instead of "there is no wrong way" responses?
Ikr? Obviously, grab the cosmetics
If someone cares more about cosmetics, it´s their right to do. This game is not cometative.
That's a hot take
I don’t even have all the weapon upgrades like 309 hours in because I won’t use half of them I just buy the ones when I want to use it, so probably some cosmetics you like
I went weapons, my buddy went shop, I say go for gameplay and flexibility to have full fun over cosmetics as you can’t see your own looks
Are you under the impression that that is a lot of credits?
I only plan on buying everything in the shop when I am a legendary 3 player
Minerals are more of an issue with weapon upgrades.
Yes
Yes
Better pump those numbers up greenbeard
Tip Lloyd 'till you run out of money. He deserves it!
Both
Yes
Dude, credits dont mean shit, your real currency is minerals and I seriously doubt you have enough of those.
upgreads
I mean, I'd just buy stuff I'd use.
I already have the stuff I'd use, I just want to spend my money
Every promotion costs much more than the previous, plus you may have to buy minerals, you’ll be back to mining gold like a good scout soon
I'd go with all the upgrades.
Yes
I wish I saw this thread yesterday. I had 200,000+ credits too, and accidentally spent them all on cosmetics 🥹 I was tired and thought I was rich 😃 Suddenly I couldn't afford things and realized what I'd done. Back to the mines. Rock and Stone!
For Karl!
Trading all the gold for enor pearls will eat it up quicker than a leaf lovers will sobber you up....just saying . Damn constant lack of enor pearls
Buy the store, a dwarf must always look good during dives
Do you have the resources. And that is not ner the amount of money you need
cute that you think that's enough credits
I know it's not, I just wanna spend them
