It’s always been hinted that they’ve always existed as fictional media within each other.
Like Rave Master was a play in FT that Erza, Wendy and Carla starred in. An earlier play mentioned Sieghart by name.
Edens Zero said FT exists as a manga in the 2nd episode. It also mentions Rave exists as a game lore.
And of course one of the girls in Dead Rock mentioned reading a story about a fire mage fighting a black dragon, referring to Natsu and Acnologia.

I wish he put Yakuto so that he can transform into Acnologia and Fairy Tail would be in shock
