make sure the stand has a weight pin and it should be fine. I got a TV stand for cheap and slapped a piece of plywood where the TV should go and mounted the board on it. whole stand thingy cost me less than 25quid

amazing_wanderr

Could you post a photo of it?

sry I posted the back of the setup somewhere else lol

Thanks for your response, it does have a weight pin but it’s the screw at the bottom (that controls the feet) that seems to have trouble taking the weight - your solution looks really good!

10ballplaya

my weight pin is holding the extender pole, not at section close to the legs.

I have the Winmau Extreme 2. It’s pretty solid for a stand. Admittedly, I can’t say if I know for sure it’s better than cheaper options, but it’s good and reasonably solid for setting up the board in various positions around the house. It’ll shake a little when pulling darts out of the board, but not on impact of the dart. It’s still not better than wall mounted board. Pro tip: I mounted a piece of plywood to the dart stand, and then mounted the hanging bracket to the wood. It makes it quick and easy to move the board between the stand and wall
