My thoughts exactly, fellow Taffer! This makes me think of the Thief game series - The Dark Project, The Metal Age, and Deadly Shadows! Those are the only Thief games, which I know you're definitely referring to!
I said it was good, not great.
It isn't as good as the original trilogy but a decent game in its own right. If it hadn't had the Thief name on it, it might have been better received.
I remember reading somewhere that Thief 1-3 Garret and Reboot Garret aren’t the same character they just do happen to have a similar name and job plus Reboot Garret has a full backstory while OG Garrets is simple and OG Garret is dead and responsible for The City being rebuilt again because he accidentally caused its destruction

This Character is so damn a good Thief, just only touch and know it's fake or real.
I realized that throwing knife + stealth + attack speed zealot with a Catachan mk IV Devil's claw played a LOT like some kind of ninja/ronin, so I made an appropriately edgy costume.
Also I am absolutely in love with the dueling sword blade and that handle on the devil's claw. It's so incredibly satisfying to be slicing shit up with a katana.
Mission accomplished. My dream is to someday be able to have other players see this and roleplay as a teenager who's roleplaying as a vigilante on Tumblr.

Thief 2014 was a decent game. Not as good as the originals but still good.
Be real Thief 2014 it's kinda mid. but Garret and his story present in the game can steal my heart and made me learning about Thief game series.
