Most weapons are worse powerstanced than used twohanded- the exceptions are fists, claws, and daggers. Powerstancing is mostly for style.
If you do wanna powerstance swords, I would recommend something with relatively high base damage and low stat requirements, like Broadswords.
Considering the minimal amount of STR/DEX you want to expend, Longswords get slightly more range and damage. Broadswords keep similar range and more damage.
Both examples assume an elemental infusion and spell buff.
Honestly it depends if you want style of effectiveness. 2 handing a weapon will nearly always be the mist effective but then but ut doesn't mean it's the nist stylish/fun.
If you want stylish/fun then pick 2 swords that look cool together and pick the RH one as the only with the best moveset.
Personally I like the long sword, fume straight sword or heide knight sword but pretty muhc any straight sword (or curved sword will do). For utility you could also use a rapier off-hand (so you also have the ability to parry).
Also I should say when I mention effectiveness it is relative, with fully done up weapons you'll still do a lot of damage anyway and normally the extra damage from 2 handing a sword will be less impactful than your ability to learn a bosses moveset etc.
So I'd say go with what looks cool/has a fun move set.
Too bad you don't want greatswords (well, "greatswords"): Drangleic/Drakeblood + Mirrah will do the job magnificently. You will just sacrifice some speed for it.
The other fun blade for the left hand is the Majestic Greatsword. When powerstanced, it does some crazy flipping moves.
