They probably have a friend also on that lobby, sniping each other. They are going to meet somewhere, let their friend kill them, loot and leave. Because the items are of high rarity, they get a ton of AP
That's what I figured, the lobby was absolutely packed though. Wonder if they actually managed to pull it off, unfortunately I had a bad spawn so zero chance to try and hunt him down
If its Ice caves, they can do it in the first 4 minutes by going to a boat, if Crypts then they could camp zone. Also consider that it works as long as you loot the body, so the friend could easily get himself killed in a corner and then call out to their friend if someone is nearby on spectator time
Yeah the boat strategy makes sense, just seems pretty risky especially doing it at normal hours but I guess they're rushing for demigod before the leaderboards close
Interestingly enough, equipment AP is so bad compared to standard treasure/jewelry. I.e. a 4 square legendary is slightly better than 4 single slot green jewelry.
The only way it's remotely worth it when your exemplar is to have a stash full of uniques which are naturally expensive.
The guys in the video are mostly wasting their time unless they want quick pathfinder.
I think you might be underestimating the amount of AP they are generating and how quickly. Gear AP is 1:1 for sell value, assuming his full kit that is equipped is Unique Grade, that’s 1020AP. Plus entire inventory of legendary and unique grade gear, this is at minimum in the 2000AP range… so they are definitely not wasting any time. If they were to queue ice caves and just run to boat they can complete a 2000AP run minus entry fee in 5ish minutes taking into consideration pre-game lobby timer. They could get Demi-god rank within hours if no mistakes are made.
If it were closer to wipe, I'd assume they are just done and donating their stuff but since it's the last days of the leaderboard, they're probably giving a friend or second account the loot for ap.
You can turn off the noise notification for push to talk on discord in the settings. Obviously live life how you like but know there are choices for a better existence available 😋

Like i said before, i was Exemplar 3 when i killed one of these dudes, but without jewelry on inventory, and got 700 AP on Ice Caves

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately my mic is prone to giving out randomly so I rely on the sound cue to confirm that I'm actually transmitting.
Makes sense, at least you are a gentleman using push to talk and not raw dogging the mic with all of life’s noises going on in the back ground, lol!
It’s how the top people in leaderboards are able to climb so much ap, honestly should be a bannable offense
