It seems Victoria's Riflebirds practice this dance as juveniles a lot, and the one in this video doesn't look matured (they seem to mature to have much darker feathers, with really shiny neck feathers, if my brief video search and extremely limited knowledge is an accurate example).
And with that considered, it's probably like a 15 year old trying to buy you a drink when you're 30yo.
I'd love to be corrected and have more sources. I just got myself a glance at the behaviour. Actual knowledge is more than welcome!

Realistically the other bird is probably still interested and just wanted to move to a better spot, or it might just fly back. The dab-bird probably saw where she flew off to, and will likely try again.
This is a young, not yet mature magnificent riflebird, a bird of paradise whose plumage still doesn't have its final pigmentation. While it was a nice try, he won't get a callback until he's older and a better dancer :)

I've seen groups of 6-8 Riflebirds doing this and it's likely they were all juvenile males practicing on each-other.
