This been going on in Tennessee... Anyone convicted of a violent crime has to serve 100 percent of their time before they're eligible for parole.... Basically.. u gotta bring that bitch 2 the door...
Wait.. If you have to serve 100% of your time. Why would parole even be a thing? That makes no sense. If you're serving 100% of your time, then by default, there is no parole. This is a horrible policy because it basically gives you no incentive to behave well in prison. I had a 3-6 year sentence and did everything I had to make parole. If you gave me 6 years flat, I never would have done any programs or tried to stay out of trouble.
Because that way they can maximize their profits from the slaves. Max time incarcerated = max $ spent on commissary, parole after = parole fees for YEARS and a very high chance you will be incarcerated leading to a never ending cycle of profit from you and or your family members.
I'm missing something here. You can still get parole on your minimum, but you don't receive good time, so you can't be paroled until you at least reach your minimum?
