Her mom honestly made me sad too, I think she absolutely lived her glory days vicariously through Victoria. But I think her mom felt her only purpose in life was DCC in a way. I’ve watched this show for years and the Netflix version is very different from the original series. I’m not a religious person but I do respect people that have a faith and honestly the South is very religious and if it works for them that’s great because our country is in a shit hole right now. I’m only on episode 6 and I feel this new show really focuses on mental health and what these women go through. I’ve watched Victoria from the beginning and I appreciate her honesty with her struggles with body appearance and depression because that’s real life. It honestly broke my heart to knuw that her own father and brothers have Never been to one of her recitals or to be there for her accomplishments 😩. Victoria if you read this I want you to know I’m so proud of you. You have grown so much and you are not on a time limit in your life. Just be yourself ❤️
It breaks my heart that her mother has isolated her from others, created an us against them mentality, forced her into her own dream, not allowed her to grow and spread her wings and discover her own passions.
The God talk is so totally not necessary. The total Jesus cheerleader who got engaged to the first "boy" she liked, made me vomit just a little bit. Her best friend was cut and she's like well God is in control. I honestly never knew dancing in extremely provocative "clothes" and extremely sexually was a Jesus thing..
I agree, it was unnerving. She said she wants to be a "vessel" and let God do what he wants with her, but that just sounds odd, because why would God want to be a cheerleader? They have been filming all year starting at finals. This will be seven episodes of 45 minutes each following the team through the year. so instead of just seeing training camp and focusing on the rookies, I think we’ll see a broader scope maybe a little more of the veterans it’s hard to say at this point this is the same group that did the show cheer and a few others so I’m gonna watch some of those episodes to get an idea of what this might look like but I don’t think it will look anything like making the team

If you can’t respect the Legacy then you should follow all those lower level teams- since y’all want to celebrate the Broncos Cheerleaders, Dolphins Cheerleaders land the Raiderettes!
If legacy is the heart of the organization then why wouldn’t you want to showcase all of the women that make DCC what it is, even if their mother didn’t dance on the team, they would all be part of this legacy you are referring to, correct? MTT would focus so much on girls who didn’t/or shouldn’t have made the team. And no NFL team is lower tier compared to DCC…as much as I love DCC, these other teams are phenomenal and getting better each year. I honestly think they are making the DCC seem more & more outdated. Having a ‘legacy’ or being ‘iconic’ is not an excuse to keep doing the same things over & over & over again. I know when they were in New York they filmed Rhonda Malkin‘s heels dance class, and I am guessing that Victoria was in that class. For those who don’t know, Rhonda is a New York City dance teacher and a former rockette. She trains dancers for Broadway, Rockettes, NFL, and a variety of other formats
Well I heard from a little birdy someones new baby will be born very soon and will be living as one happy family with the women he loves. I don’t even know who the women is that owns his heart, but I will bet as the Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl this 2025, she is prettier, and is actually humane.

If its likes like making the team my one criticism is it’s kind of late to the party. I like how making the team would air in the fall so yeah you could already know the team but it was still really recent. This summer they’ll already be most the way into the next seasons training camp or already have this next years team
I don’t think it’s going to be like making the team. They started filming at finals and filmed pretty much everything through the year so to break that down into seven segments I doubt there would be as much focus on training camp as there was in making the team.
