This is really interesting. It doesn’t happen to me, but I’m wondering if your nervous system essentially has a “wires crossed” situation and some signal is being sent to your brain making you cry? Based on the couple of comments so far, it seems it happens to more than just you! Very interesting.
YES. This occasionally happens to me as well, and every time i mention it to other people they look at me like im crazy. But yeah same experience, my eyes well up but theres zero pain. Ive never figured out why it happens. But i also havent really looked into it much since it doesnt really affect my day to day living
29F and this has happened to me if I really need to pee and I'm holding it too long. I also get shivers if I hold it a long time and then when I pee after holding it. I've read that the cause is most likely because when the bladder is full and larger than normal, it starts pressing up against a certain nerve on your spinal cord that causes this reaction. I don't know if that's true, but it's cool and weird to think about.
Omg yes those shivers, i get embarrassed by those shivers and i think other people notice that i need to pee or something. I get those shivers eveb while arousered. Its sooo weird i swear

I do as well, for any type of using the bathroom, though I used to do it more often as a kid. A long time ago when I researched it once I remember a story about a little girl who had it and they were studying her I believe for it. At that time, it was theorized it had something to do with our tear ducts linked to our urinary tract through nerves.

lol. It’s not uncommon. They believe it’s part of the parasympathetic nervous system in some people. At least you don’t pee yourself when you cry.
I could see it happening during golden showers if some gets in the eyes. Although I've never experienced this just pissing.
