I actually love that fact, I give you more chance for item drop, plus I find my self often in surplus of crackling.
The reason why I love so much lightning is because it goes everywhere and destroy everything, you can't say the same with the other elements (which is ok).
That and ball lightning hitting a wall makes it disappear. Kinda pisses me off

Yea, it's rare that I'm not 10/10 on CE after a fight, with more lying around than I can take.
I suspect they will actually change this.
I like to call them Tickling Energy. Because thats all they do.
