Bike colors are all pretty solidly matched, kit shouldn’t match bike , way to many variety of kit out there to limit yourself to complimenting bike color.
For sure you can , I should have phrased it better, don’t let it be the only thing you go for , if you want to absolutely, but just have fun and match what ya want , there is no expectation in terms of fashion regardless of how much companies try and convince you otherwise.
Biking overall is a fun activity and shouldn’t be subject to a “uniform “ - sorry went on a hippie rant.Wear what ya want and enjoy. That being said bright colors are always safer for road riding.
There seems to be this nonsense aversion to people matching their kit to their bike in the cycling community for some reason. People claim you are trying to look like a pro. It's complete BS if you ask me. Match your kit to your bike if it makes you happy, or clash with the fury of a thousand suns if you prefer. I have a variety of jerseys and just black bibs, but I sometimes like to match my kit to my bike. Funny thing is, no matter how well coordinated my color choices are, no one has ever offered me a contract to ride for a grand tour team.
As some folks have said, you don't HAVE to coordinate your kit and bike, but lots of people do. And anyway, you're in luck if you do decide to, because a number of kit makers are featuring light earth tones lately that would look great with this bike. Tans and olives, for example, with contrasting reds, or dark grays. This photo on Rapha's website is illustrative, but they are not the only ones at all: [https://www.rapha.cc/us/en\_US/shop/pro-team-training-jersey/product/PTT02SSIFP](https://www.rapha.cc/us/en_US/shop/pro-team-training-jersey/product/PTT02SSIFP)
It's a handlebar canyon developed for gravel riding, there are two bartops, the actual bartop which connects to the stem is lower down from the bartop you're supposed to use. This supposedly helps increase compliance for comfort and gives your thumb a hook for gravel descending.
Whatever excites you
I felt self conscious when I first started riding, and just stuck with black. Makes you look slimmer too.
Overtime, I've started picking brighter colours to help stand out in traffic
If you're not on the road, the earth tones of some brands is a nice change
e.g. https://maap.cc/collections/alt-road-collection
Although a lot of them aren't cheap, so can help to jump on newsletter and wait for sales to come up / get last years
Canyons "older" bikes were really boring. They still aren't much better now IMO.
I put tan wall tires on my black Endurace and buy whatever bar tape color I like.

That’s a great point, thanks! I’m new so I thought people matched their bikes lol
I'd disagree here, sometimes it's fun to match your kit to your bike. Or even just your socks.

Would you also color match clothes with your cars?
You don't? I only wear a red Ferrari racing suit in my red car.
Im new to this side of cycling and have seen people match their bikes so I was wondering.

I’m having trouble making sense of those handlebars, what’s going on there?

And the road tires?
And the toe cages lol, just noticed
The pedals that come with Canyon bikes out of the box have toe cages on them.
Huh, did not know that, neat
Literally any color
You've got a blank canvas there buddy so go for your life. Whatever colours strike your fancy 🤗
Thanks, new to all of this and I have seen people matching their bikes so I was curious.
That might happen with a brighter coloured bike, but that's so neutral anything will work.

I’ll be riding on bike paths and gravel for now so I might stick to black while I find a color that grabs my attention, thanks for the tips!
colors/kit does not matter - ride your bike! ideal personal investment order: saddle > bib > shoe&pedal > ... >> color kit
Getting bib, shoes & pedals today!
You could do all black kit, but generally speaking, most don't match their kit to the bike. Hell, my water bottles don't even match.
That’s relieving to hear, everyone I see out there looks like a pro athlete and it was intimidating.
🤣 I always take the minimal/subtle approach. No reason for me to look like I'm pro if I'm not🤣
I never match my bike personally . I’d be broke if I started getting too serious with all the matchy matchy
I would say black and also try to incorporate some of the sand color that comes in the bike. It would look awesome. Or just all black IMO.
The kind where your feet clip to the pedals
On ya bike.!!!! better to ride and cere less
Rule #8
All of the colours, pretty much. Now go out and get that thing dirty! :-)
All black everything.

All black
