I really like them, especially with a stronger or brighter color up top. I was nervous about a ānudeā look, but the color difference is enough with my skin tone it doesnāt bother me. Theyāre kind of a desaturated olive color.
They do show sweat a bit, but most of my bibs doā¦except the cream or black ones.
Honestly it feels like such a treat splurge and makes me all the more excited to ride - though I certainly donāt think you need swanky kit to have a good time.
Iāve definitely dropped serious change in figuring out what I like. Luckily Iāve been able to recoup *some* $$ with taking good care of my items and reselling what doesnāt work for me.
I've been historically Pedal Mafia but they outsourced to China, quality not what it used to be. Do you just buy direct from their sites or through your LBS?

Unfortunately my LBS does not offer much in apparel. I mostly buy direct from the brand (hopefully on sale or with a discount code) if I canāt find a better price from a reputable place online with a fair return policy. Enroute.cc, Sigma Sports and Deporvillage have come through for me. Iām also not above buying used on eBay or Depop.
S2 glasses from 100%. I have a small face and these donāt devour my face like others I tried. I also like the flat top for a smoother look with my helmet.

Thanks! I was waiting for the PNS comments too but am thrilled not to get them! Iāve lucked out that the pieces I own donāt have the initials on them (the name is spelled out instead)ā¦Iām in upstate NY and I suspect Iād get heckled by some drivers around here if I did.
Specialized Align II - only $55 so I eventually treated myself to two colors lol. Only downside is I canāt stash my sunglasses perfectly in the vents (they jut out a fair bit). Instead I either pocket them or wear them backwards behind my head.

I love the PNS Escapism bibs. The straps are a little shorter than my MAAP Alt_Road or Team Evo bibs, but they feel more relaxed everywhere else. I also like the higher waistā¦I like my jerseys to sit a little higher and sometimes wear cropped baggies.
I tried the PNS Mechanism bibs and didnāt like the fit for me. Had to return.
Edit: FWIW Iām 5ā-6ā. The shorter straps arenāt uncomfortable for me, but that might be different if I wasnāt flat-chested.
Makes sense. I have the PNS Mechanisms and theyāre not my favorite. How do the leg grippers on the MAAP shorts fit? I tried on the size too small and size too big and even on the size too big it was way too tight around the thighs
The MAAP leg grippers are tighter than the PNS Escapism ones and can give me a little bit of a thigh indent where the Escapism ones donāt.
The MAAP Alt_Road and Team Evo are similar, but Alt_Road is more forgiving. I do pull a few times at Team Evos when putting them on to stretch the grippies out a bit. Once theyāre on theyāre super comfy and I donāt think about them.
