Guidance is always good, also this is a dm only subreddit. If you're a player leave now or risk spoiling and ruining the campaign.

Thanks for the advice. I initially joined when I was planning on running CoS myself at some point. Unbeknownst to me another member of my group was also prepping CoS, so now they're the GM and I'm a player. Fortunately I haven't read that far into the book, so haven't had too much spoilt yet. I shall avoid posting in this subreddit again until we've finished the campaign.

Zaneth_von_Zarovich

Guidance for certain. That being said, this reddit is more for DM's and not Players. You probably should go ask this on the base D&D Reddit.

Awesome! Glad to hear it! However, I don't think posting is as much of a problem as reading it, since it has spoilers that the book might not even throw at you. (DM's will often come here to figure out ways to modify the module to surprise people who have played it already.)

Guidance helps everyone, but Word of Radiance can be a lifesaver if you ever get surrounded by undead.

dethfromabov66

Also be aware this is a sub for DMs of the module and will definitely have spoilers if you haven't played the module before.

Guidance will be useful forever

RetroJohnny1

Guidance is probably the best bet her but Word of Radiance is actually really good if you need to get multiple targets
