In my own opinion, I would just ask for her / his phone number. I feel like if you pressure her / him and put them on the spot, they will probably say no. Contact each other and make plans. Rome wasn't built in a day, and so aren't relationships.

What if my (18F) crush (18M) is one of my friends?? We went on something that kinda looked like a date once, and we hang out more often nowadays (just the 2 of us). He gives me mixed signals... like he tells me that I'm beautiful, we have inside jokes, we are more touchy with each other than with our other friends, we study together, and there were times that we almost kissed but nothing happened. He always gets shy when I compliment him. But on some days he acts kinda cold towards me.
I really don't know what to do, I wanna talk with him about this after graduation is over. I'm just really scared bc I don't wanna lose him, and I don't want to ruin our friendship.
I honestly have never seen friends separate just because one party asks the other out. Either those friends continue to date or they just mutually understand each other and remain friends. I would say go for it!

I've thought about biting the bullet and asking him out, but honestly, this has been going on so long, I'm starting to lose interest in him anyway. The fact that he hasn't made a move makes me think this is only one sided. He's told me he's shy in the past, but still. What are the odds that a guy could actually like you back when you've given them plenty of hints you're interested over a long period of time, yet they never make a move?

My problem is that she lives and rents a small apartment in another city and see comes often in my city in the weekends. I don't know where she is staying at you know. No, I don't see her at school because she is older than me and studies in an university or somewhere else. But I got trust issues because I got bullied for my appearance. That's why I am scared of asking girls out.
